Just wondering what is happening to July 2010 to Dec 2010 FSW1 applicants???

I am wondering what happened to applicants like me:
applied: June 2010
Medical Done: May 2012
RPRF paid: May 2012

PR: not yet, there is no changes in the e-case. no news, nothing,
Just hope

- Updated schedule A --> Send Via email . The email should be a reply to the email they send you.
- Updated Additional family information form -->Send Via email . The email should be a reply to the email they send you.
- Medical exams --> The Examier will send to the Visa office directly.
- Payment of the right to permanent residence fee --> I received this a few months back. You can pay either by ordering a form online from CIC, which you will receive via POST and pay through that. or you can pay online--> print the receipt--> add your file number and name and date of birth. scan it and send it via EMAIL. I choose the second option but my VO was Ottawa.

Order GCMS notes in order to see what's going on with you file.

Hi guys,
My MP just called me and said she has contacted to Ottawa and they said , they will definitely begin working on my application before the end of 2013, and this dose not mean that they will finalize it by then ,they will just start working on it! She said nothing has started yet for my application!!! When I asked her does it look like i have to wait for another 1.5 year , she said unfortunately seems so!

You can see my info and everything on the left. I have been in Canada since 2010 (August) .....

Wow, it was a bit unexpected... Although, they did not promise to finalize it in 2013.

Please don't put too much stock in what your MP says, have hope. Often people post what their MP tells them about the status of their application and it isn't always right. "Worrying about tomorrow doesn't fix tomorrow, it just takes away today's peace."

Hi Wolvy, my application period coincides with yours. Hopefully u and I will land very soon.


Sometimes, visiting this forum takes away the worry of endless waiting for the PR decision. When you read stories of people on this forum whose files are getting some progress, it gives you hope that yours is coming closer to the fore of the long queue.

Hi all,

just checked ecas. a decision has been made as of today. lets hope its a good decision....ill find out tomorrow. within one month they started processing my application, i did my medicals two weeks ago and a decision has been made already.

Cheers Wolvy....i hope it hasn't been rejected. My lawyers will tell me tomorrow i guess. I hope everyone gets PPR's soon and some indication their files are being looked at.

What did you do to be so lucky? There are applications from early 2011 and even from 2010 waiting to hear from Ottawa. Please guide us.
