Thanks guys. I tihnk emailing Jason Kenney really helped?? i don't know....

But i'm abit concerned. I've been asked to show proof of settlement funds. But i am working in Canada....applied with arranged employment (submitted my work permit...and my GCMS indicates i applied under arranged employment) so i don't know why they are asking me of this? If i new i wouldn't have spend 10k recently. I hav emy lawyer emailing Ottawa to clarify.

I hope this doesn't screw me over.

6 Months. My lawyer says this must be a mistake. theyll submit everything with a letter saying as i have arranged employment, there is no need to provide proof of funds.

Congratulation! That's a great news! What did you basically wrote in the e-mail to Jadon Kenney, just asked to start processing your application? What was the subject of your e-mail?

Hi Everyone!!!

I'm a june 2010 Buffalo applicant and already submitted medicals (October 2010) and RPRF (February 22nd) last month. I send them an email asking about my status and they said that my application is in "progress" and they will let me know if something else is needed.

Knowing that I'm at the final stage of this LONG process the waiting is even more painful. Thats why I want to know if someone else has the a similar timeline as me and if you had a different answer from ottawa office, just to have a little bit of hope.

I am June 2010 applicant too (Buffalo office). It is more than 35 months

I have done medical May 2012,
I have paid RPRF, May 2012.

I asked them to get update, CIC is saying you are in queue for review by officers.
I hope we get PR soon.

My MP just called and they said they still haven't started my application, however last week I received an email from Jason Kenney's office that they began my background check, so who do I believe?

Should I request CAIPS?

Hello guys,

I was asked to send passport, 2 photos and BIODATA form to CIC last week. But CIC did not attach the BIODATA form in their email as it should be. I emailed CIC back for it but get no reply.

Would anybody please email me one to Beijing780 @ gmail.com ? Please delete the blanks before and after the @

My work permit will expire soon so this issue drives me crazy....

When they requested my passports they requested 2 picts and Biodata with the passports there was no form so I just wrote all the biodata height, hair colour, weight, etc on a piece of paper and sent it, I never heard anything about a Biodata form
I had no problem when I did this and got my PR

Just got an email from Ott-pilot that my application has been transferred to port of Spain. And that port of Spain will communicate with me in the next two month. According to the email the application was transferred on 24th of April.
My application was received at CIO on 24th of March 2011
AOR received on 20th of April 2011.
I am fsw-1,Noc 3112.

Anyone else received the same email informing you of application transfer to port of Spain?

I am happy as hell about my application not being transferred to Mexico City or port of Spain...., I would have been stuck back on the back of the line again, regardless of what they say (2 months or whatever). I'm a June 2011 applicant by the way.
