Hello Anuj,

Regarding your delivery notes, it may be that your parcel may not have reached in business hours, so they left a note. Don't worry. They will pick it up in next business day.

Regarding doctor & CIC connection, designated medical practioner are only designated to conduct your medical exam. It will be evaluated and decision will me made by CIC. If your parcel don't reach CIC, then for sure you have to do medical exam again.

CyTric

Thanks CyTric for the reply,

I will wait till Monday and if by than they have not received it than I might get in action might call doctors office or write to CPP-O for what ever is going on because my last day is April 18th, I don't want to get unlucky again I am lucky enough for reconsideration for my application back in May2012.

But anyway thanks again,

Anuj Patel
might bug you again with some more questions

Hi All - I just renewed my passport. Do I need to send CIC a copy of my new one, and if so where do I email or fax it to?

Yes, you have to send them copy of your new passport.
You can do it either by e-mail or by fax:

By email

Use this ottpilot-immigration@cic.gc.ca e-mail to ask CPP-O about a Permanent Resident case.

By fax

613-946-6059

Make sure that you include your name, file number, date of birth and Unique Client Identifier (UCI) to help us identify your application.

I would recommend using fax, it's proven to be the most reliable way to communicate information update to Ottawa.

Hi,
I applied in march 2011.
I called my MP office and they replied with the below link and told me the following:
the minister has issued new instructions about the FSW applications that have been delayed because of the closure of the Buffalo office. In summary, it means that all files will be reviewed this year but it will take until 2014 for some to be completed. Here is where you can see this in more detail:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/ottawa.asp
(See “Frequently Asked Questions” towards the bottom of the page and then Question 1 “I applied at the Canadian Visa Office in Buffalo, New York… etc” and look at the information for Federal Skilled Workers).

Please comment after checking the above link and the information.

This is stale news. That link has been there - the MP probably doesn't know more than you do. He's just a politician who likes to tell you what you like to hear. And to all you contacting/looking for how to contact MPs, you all need to know the above. If you have not heard directly from CIC, your best bet is to WAIT!

Hi,

My status is showing Decision made.Does anyone know how much time it takes to get passport as I have to leave US for a while?.If possible, I would like to hear from people whose status has recently changed to decision made and received passport.

Thanks,
Trick

I disagree. MPs do have access to our immigration files. I contacted my MP and ordered CAIPS separately. My MP told me precise information about my case which I was able to confirm in my records. And I also saw in my records that he had contacted CIC. There's was a real interaction between CIC and the MP. Please don't spread comments that aren't based on facts.

I stand firmly by my earlier post, and you can quote me anywhere. You were obviously in such a hurry to disagree that you failed to understand what I posted - there's no where I said the MP doesn't have access to your files. Truth is you have as much access as he does. All correspondences with Visa offices will naturally be on record, and as such there is really no big deal about records indicating interaction between your MP and CIC, just as your own contacts with them is recorded.

The bottom line is MP gets to tell whoever wants to listen all that CIC has on record which the principal applicant is also entitled to. Anything further than that is merely speculative - which most MPs have been doing.

If you review this forum (and others), you would easily see that information/timelines given by most MPs in the past have actually crumbled on them - even the MPs are confused right now, and so are the people who depend on them.

i disagree with you
I contacted my MP twice once in August and last time in december and he gave me precise info on my file in fact he told me that they expect to finnish my file before the end of Jan 2013 and I completed my landing on Jan 25

All this was done by his assistant in Calgary
And both times Received an answer from him within 1 business day

I don't rely on other forums or others word of mouth Im based on my personal experience

Hi all
I received my GCMS notes yesterday but I don't see any logs in it regarding my medical. I was told to go through my medical exam back in May 2012 which I did. ECAS never showed medicals received but I was under the impression that this is not reliable. So I didn't worry too much about it. But now I don't see any thing related to medical results in GCMS as well.
I have certificates from my doctor as well as the date and tracking number for my medical results. How can I inform CPP Ottawa that I did go through my medicals. Shall I send them copies of all the certificates and receipts or is there any other RIGHT way.

Any comments/ suggestions please.
