Hi Syed,

CAn you please guide me on how to pay the RPRF. I thought we could pay online but apprently i have to do a hard payment.

If someone else knows how to pay the RPRF fee, kindly do let me know.
I have to submit it in a few days.

Feb 2013 received request for RPRF.

I would like to pay today but dont know how.

Hello BK11,
I think in order to start with new employer, you need to get new work permit on basis positive LMO result you would get. Have you heard about accelerated LMO process? If your employer has previously sponsored anyone in last one year for LMO than it would get only 15 days to get new LMO under A-LMO process. By the way i am in same boat as you, presently on closed work permit with one of the mining equipment manufacturer & getting confused about PR. I am still deciding on whether to go for FSW right now or wait for myself becoming eligible for CEC after six month more. Let me know if you need more information.

Just got a call from my MP. They are working on applications from early 2011 now. As mine was fall 2011, they haven't even looked at it yet. MP said follow up with their office again in June or July.

Of march 2013 ! Just curiouse to know
How long ottawa is taking these days for passport request

I paid my consultant huge bucks but she is so busy and careless that she hardly answer my questions and just says everything will be fine dont worry, but looking at ram84's case today, i am getting little worried for my situation. I feel so blessed that i found this forum where I can get true help and suggestions...thanks again for your reply. I am planning to apply for CEC very soon

This time try to go without consultant and you will be fine.This forum can get u more and better information than your consultant can provide.

Save your hard earned money, you will require when you get your PR.

my medical was done in last sep 2012 and my status is "IN PROCESS". and line add in dec 2012 " medical result have been received"
is anyone know here how long it take for PPR. its almost 6months after my medical done. i am so panic this days.
please someone advice me.

Hi ,

There is no reason to panic.I have got my ppr after 11 months.Since you are dome with medicals and if your security checks have been completed then you are very close to getting ppr.

Which category did you apply?

I applied on May 2010 and got medical last december, done is Jan and then requested updated state PCC from my current US state in Feb. I called them, they said they started security check in Feb. My medical received line is little over 4 weeks old now, still waiting for PPR!

I want to apply for CEC according to the new rules. I have one year experience from September 2010 - August 2011. Also, I have ielts which is valid for another 3-4 months. Am i eligible to apply?? I have already applied for FSW2, can I apply for CEC without withdrawing the other one? Also, all the documents like experience, ielts etc must be valid till the application date or valid till it get processed? Please reply

My FBI PCC for US for my old stay (before Canada) was submitted during my application in 2010. They didnt ask for a new one for FBI rather they asked a new one from my US state where I am residing since I left Canada.

Hey BK11,

Yes, you can apply CEC without touching your FSW2 application, I think once your IELTS results expired, they will request you for a recent copy of IETLS test. But I know CEC is much faster than FSW2. Hope for the best.
