Hi, one of my friends got enquiry/verification from immigration officer for experience in employment. In his online status, it is still RBVO but processing is going on his case. In what situation online status gets updated to "we started processing your file.......?" Thanks
A lot of "RBVO" status is actually "in process". In any case, even the most updated e-case is still very unreliable.

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.

We wish to remind you at this time that your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is outstanding. You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.

I've received this mail..
Is this the landing fee..can anybody explain!!!

Ottawa just started with MI-2

at least there doing something, applications from what date are the ones in MI-2?

So last month i read all over the net in forums and news articles etc that CIC will make drastic changes in feb, which we would notice. Maybe i'm missing something here but personally i haven't seen any drastic change. Can someone enlighten me maybe as to what they've done to fix this mess?

Thanks.

so Ottawa is moving....sloooooooowly....at least it is moving! Hopefully for most of us!
This is what they said applicants will hear something from Ottawa about their files at the end of the month. Well, in my case...NOTHING! Oh well, nothing I can do but wait.....
Anyone who applied in 2nd quarter and 3rd quarter of 2011 whose in Canada alread under FSW2 and ??? still waiting for their MR's???..or even just an e-mail from Ottawa??? ANYONE????????????? ??? ::)

I applied in September 2011, all I know is it's being processed in Ottawa. No updates since my 2nd AOR in Dec 2011.

Where is the source of this info?

There is no official information about it, but MPs of MI-2 applicants informed that background checks started, some people received emails regarding documents. Nothing like medicals, but Ottawa is working hard on provincial applicants who applied before September 11 because their medicals are about to expire and people get upset when they have to do/pay for medical twice.

Once they are done with the majority of FSW MI1 and Provincials/QSW with medicals about to expire, they will have more time for us (FSW MI2). Right now lots of preparation going on like email to marmar1984 and information that background checks started already.

It was said about provincial and QSW, nothing promised for FSW. Lots of applicants from the end of 2010 did not receive anything, so relax for a while.

What are the application dates for MI-1 and MI-2?

l got words too, from CIC, that my security checks outside canada is complete, and RCMP screening is in process, but that my file has not been assigned to an officer, hence my eligiblity review is not started yet.
