Guys don't lose hope. I am an M1 applicant whose application was moved to Ottawa. I have been in Canada since July 2009 and am presently on post graduate work permit. My timelines are below:

Applied : May 2010
AOR : November 2010
In Process : May 2011
Med Request : Jun 2012
Med Sent/Received: Jun 2012
RCMP clearence request for my wife : Sep 2012
PPR : 15th Dec 2012

Right now I am vacationing and I plan on submitting our passports in person in Detroit.

I dd my medicals last year 11th Dec 2011.
Its been over a year so im assuming my medical is no longer valid.
I still the last mwdical request. Should i just go aheqd and do the medical again.

Medical: Nov 2011
and sicne then waiting.........
 
Hi,
I applied in 11July, 2010. I got police chech in may 2012. but immidiate then after Buffalo office closed. I didn't receive nay message from any where about where is file. But still i send my police check to Ottawa. Can any one help me if they have same case like that?

How do you find out your medical is extended for another year , did u get any letter or email by ottawa

Got my PPR today from Ottawa. Need to submit passports to Detroit in 30 days.

the thing is i have just submitted my passport for renewal today in NY. Hopefully it comes through in couple of weeks and i am planning to get it stamped personally in Detroit

It appears CIC is working on May 2010 applicants (and possibly the last set of pre-june files). See avarava23 got his Dec 15 and now yours, Dec 18. Since many post june were processed, hopefully thet might want to jump to Oct/Nov 2010 guys. Hope my calculation checks in. :)
 
We have not received medical request yet Come2Canada,, we just need to receive it first and then expect to get PR soon..right?
Hopefully there is something that I don't understand. I don't know how come they are writing that processing time in cpp is 8 month!!!! :-[ :o

Yea, hopefully PPR won't be that long for us after medicals. And I feel everyone's frustration, but it's good to see positive news. There were quite a number of July - September/Oct '10 processed with some speed before Buffalo went to sleep - I feel you missed that pack going by your timeline? Anyways, remain positive!
