Nothing so far. I thought same category people might be having the same number as a group. which is wrong.
and also assumed that it categories the priority but few people got the same number got PPR and few did not get any thing.

I am right now assuming that it could be a officers code who has been assigned our case...

what is included in the medical test for PR? What exactly do they ask clients to do? can anyone share?

They do your blood work, CHEST X-RAY, Urine work, Eye sight check, weight , height and etc. If you are in USA, it costs you 400 to 450 dollars. The total time taken is almost 2 hours or less than that.

Hope it helps.

Hi all,

Just received my GCMS notes. From notes its confirmed that my file is received by CPP Ottawa from Buffalo on 7th July 2012. But Still no progress on my file. All fields has status as "Not Started".
I guess they haven't touched my file yet.
Any guess when i will hear something from them?
You can find my timeline on left. I am FSW1 - MI2 applicant.

will appreciate any views on this.

Andy

Hi Andy,

I am in the same boat as you are. I applied in Mar 2011, and I received my GCMS last week, nothing changed since April/May 2012 when I had requested for GCMS last, except file transfer to CPP-O on July 7th. It is the same date for all BVO applicants. Not sure what is taking so long. Lets see couple of more months, hopefully we hear something by end of this year.

Regards,
Shiv

I applied in December 2010 and got my AOR in April 2011. I haven't heard from Ottawa either.

My MP contacted the visa office twice since then. A month ago he informed me that my file is already in Ottawa but an officer hasn't started processing it yet. Be patient. I've had to renew my work permit 3 times already. There's a lot of us in the pipeline. Patience!

Same case as you JUSTTHEME but applied September 2010, I wish I have your patience ;).
plz if you heared from them tell us right away and I will do so hopefully

Why don't you guys apply under the Canadian Experience Class from what I have been hearing this is the fastest in terms of processing time.

Check on the trackkit website.

I can't understand why people with 2 years or more work experience don't apply under that class.

It will still be processed faster than your current application.

I think we are all hoping that we are almost done. :'( fingers crossed

Why hope and pray put in the application if one comes out before the other simply withdraw the one that hasn't been processed.

That's what my friend has done.

How to take MO or bank draft in CAD?

no bank or USPS is giving in CAD?

How u all paid fees?

I did the same by applying CEC..no response for both of the application from Ottawa.
FSW2 dec2010 .no update still
CEC june2012 no update still

When I thought buffalo was slower,Ottawa outclass them by not even responding to our queires..
Mr Kenny says they are working towards faster immigration and the news release doesnt reflect the ground reallity..

let see whether our application are touched atleast by this year end.. be prepared that you will get ur PR by next year end :-) :-(

For all the Buffalo cum Ottawa applicants, today is the anniversary of my application because as per my online status it is saying "We received your application for permanent residence on 11th October, 2011" and since then, i did not hear anything about my file. They just asked for fingerprinting in Feb, 2012 but after that nothing at all. Oh God, when will this wait ends?? :(

I'm sure you will hear something soon on that CEC application!!!

I will be applying under CEC in January and if I still don't hear anything after a few months I am considering Australia or New Zealand!!! I am tired of Canadian immigration!!! Wasting too much energy!!!

Guys please suggest me that how to transfer my file from Ottawa to New Delhi?? I do not want to waste another year for their decision. Thanks
