Congrats Ashu! we hope for PPR soon.

thanks a lot alwayspositive,

I have booked medical appointment for next week and i already paid RPRF. I haven't received the medical forms yet, as email stated that i will get it via separate email within 24 hours. Any idea how long they are going to take to send the forms ? can i go for medical exam without those medical forms ?

Email CIC if you don't receive the forms after 24 hours.
I remember someone on this forum went to the doctor's office without the forms and got it done because the doctor was able to find his information on the system and printed the form for him. You are likely to receive the forms from CIC before your appointment next week. :) :)

See my comments in green. Good luck ahead.

Hello everyone! I need some help and guidance from you experts here on this board.

My family (my wife as primary applicant) had submitted our application to Buffalo office under 2011 FSW. We are residing in the US on non-immigrant visa. We just heard from CIC that the initial assessment has been completed and they expect to finalize our application without a personal interview. They have asked us to submit updated IMM0008, IMM5406 and IMM5669, in addition to RPRF, PCC, FBI Clearance, Proof of Settlement Funds and Letter of Employment from current employer for the primary applicant. We have had no communication with CIC since we submitted the application and received an acknowledgement with application number.

We have a few questions as we prepare to respond to their request. Would really appreciate if you can please advise.

1. We have moved to another City within the US since our original CIC application in 2011. How do we handle that? The updated documents will take of this

2. Since the original application was submitted, we now have an additional family member in the family, our 1-yr old son, that will need to be added to this application. How do we handle that? - See comment in 1 above

3. My wife is the primary applicant. They have asked for Letter of employment from her current employer. The issue is, my wife changed her employer (same field and job function) some time after submitting this application. She worked at that new employer until the end of 2012. She is no longer working as she is looking after our kids. She does plan to get back in the work force some time in 2014.
- How do we address CIC's request for Letter of employment from current employer as she is no longer working?
- Also, how do we handle the change in her employer during this period?
- Will this be a problem?
I dont think this will be problem. Considering that the eligibilty assessment has been completed and the fact that continuous employment is not listed as a requirement, you are good.
4. How do we get Police clearance certificate (PCC) from India? Do we need to go to India to get this? Someone on the forum will help with vital information for sure

5. Further, they have requested certified true copies of the documents. Does anyone know how we can these scanned copies certified? A nbotry public or a commisioner for oaths in your location should be able to do it if they see the originals

6. PCC has to be submitted in original to CPP-Ottawa. Does it have to be mailed directly by the issuing authority or can we mail it too? I guessed it is to be mailed by you.

7. They have given us 30 days to respond to their request. Not sure if we can gather and submit all the requested documents in that time, especially FBI clearance and PCC. How do we address that? If you wont be able to meet up with the deadline, it will be better to email them to explain this fact.

Thank you very much!

Please can somebody answer my question, after paying the RPRF we sent the copy of the receipt to CPP OTTAWA by email and now I carefully read the email wherethey requested RPRFand looks like they asked to send the receipt to the particular address. Would it matter how we sent the receipt? How did you sent your receipt?

You need to send the copy of receipt (RPRF) to "CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca" for faster processing

They said in the email

Please submit the requested documents/fees to the following address:
Attention: Xxx
Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West
7th Floor
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1

However we just sent the scanned copy of the receipt to OttPilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca

Now I am little bit worried that they might not have received our receipt and it has passed more than 60 day.
Should we still send them the receipt to the address they asked or by email is enough.

If not sure, I suggest you mail it to the address given as well and add a note that you have already sent it by email on... (state the date). Alternatively, you could simply email to find out whether it had been received.

Thank you for your responce. Yes, I am going to email them. And how did you send your receipt?

We sent it to the email address sent us and made it - Attention of: xxxxx (that is case analyst number). Usually when sending email the principal applicant (my spouse) quotes his UCI, File number, Date of Birth and Last Name

Thank you for your responce. I kind of don't want to email them, because it looks kind of stupid that I did not pay close attention to the email and then I am not sure if it matters that much that we sent the receipt (RPRF) via email, since all our corespondance is by emails.

Don't be hard on yourself.
I don't think you should worry though, you will be receiving your PPR soon :) :) :)

Case analyst may not necessarily be the same. Different people receive same requests from different analysts.
