Hey Guys,

I am new in this forum, I have applied on Aug 2011 under FSW 1, haven't received anything yet..i asked for GCMS notes which wasn't very helpful either. How can we get to know that who is Visa officer and status of the application like BC, or anything ?

It will appear in no time. Visa officer needs BONUS too. He will look after you.

I'm beginning to think the numbers refer to visa offices not visa officers. Usually document requests come from DB0024, medical requests from MM01603 and PPR from DS01608. I think these are the offices in charge of FSW applications. This is my speculation though. I may be wrong.

Moreover I'm yet to see any FSW1 who applied after June 2011 and has received document request. They seem to be progressing gradually, the next wave of document request may include you. Lets all keep praying and hoping.

Strictly follow what alwayspositive wrote. All shall be well.

You will get it! They never promised when. You can't be missed. They admitted that Arranged employment gets priority. You have helped a lot of peeps with the information. You will celebrate soon.

Hi Saur, Your timeline from Documents request to PPR was very fast! Congratulations!! I got my medical and RPRF on August 20.. now juts waiting for PPR. It's been 17 days! Hoping to get pretty soon!!

Here is my story. I was asked to submit the docs that I did within few days.
I was reading on this forum regarding the e-medical. I came across a post by "bickyii" in CEC forum who did his medicals in Kitchener, Ontario. His processing was very fast.
So I decided to go to the same doctor in Kitchener. The doctor updated the reports very quickly and I got the PPR in the next week. I sent the passport on the same day and got it back within one week.
I'm not sure whther it is becasue the doctor submitted the reports quickly or just luck factor.

Patience has no limits mate. You are still breathing. Worry never won any battle for anyone, it connects directly to the pharmaceutical world. Would you remember this pain when you'll get your PR, I am guessing, NO! So why getting depressed when the whole process is confusing. This whole system is all over the place. Focus on your present and live one day at a time.

The more you focus on PR, the more you torture yourself.

Hi Cygnet, i was not asked for a police clearance. Only for my wife who is still in our country. Ive been here in Canada for about 5 years. Some of the people with the same timeline received thier ppr in less than a month. I dont know what's happening now with mine. How about you?

I had a question. I have a full time permanent job offer right now. I fall in the FSW 1 category (I applied without job offer). I have received my medical and did it on July 11 th. Should I need to send my job offer to cic? Another question, to become considered as FSW2 should I need LMO with AEO? I applied in Sep 2010. What was the rule at that time?

I am waiting for PPR. Sending job offer will do any good for me or make my processing delayed?

Seeking help from the seniors.

I concur with Jayson, do not complicate your applications by sending documents they did not request for. I am pretty sure that you have passed eligibility test that was why you got MR and RPRF. The outstanding stages for your application are security and medical screening which are most likely at advance stage.
