It's closed. All files have been transferred.

The situation is that it closed lol. Plus applications got sent to one of the following:
Ottawa
LA
NYC
Seattle
Detroit
Washington, DC

No one knows how to tell which application is going where yet.

So what if our medicals got sent to buffalo before our application even started being processed? will we need to redo our medicals?

Why were they sent there? They are supposed to go to Ottawa and then they get requested from there..

Only the medical receipt was sent there. Results go to the RMO in Ottawa. They are transmitted electronically when the VO requests them.

still confused, i sent all the application to missugana? so will they have the medicals swell?
and will they decide where to send them afterwards? what VO is ottowa?

Your doctor sent the actual medical results to Ottawa, Ontario. Whenever your file gets transferred to your VO then they will request the medical results from Ottawa and they will send to your VO.

It's looking like it'll go to somewhere in the states. LA, Seattle, Washington DC, or Detroit.

Yeah, I'm hoping I dont have to go all the way to Montreal for my landing interview. The Gatineau office has also closed as well. I called today and they were like "it's going to Ottawa...no wait...I think its Montreal...let me go check" -put on hold- "No one knows for sure any info right now"

You can still make an appointment to do your landing at your local office. It'll just take 3-4 weeks to GET an appointment.

Oh really?? How would I go about that? Call CIC or my local office? I've been trying to find the phone number to the Ottawa visa office, but I'll be damned if I can find it.

I dont even know if that's my 'local office' seeing as how I'm in Quebec. The Gatineau office WAS my local office. I think all of this is too soon to tell. My 2nd stage isnt even done yet. =/

From MY understanding, and I could wrong, but you're supposed to call the call centre and ask for an appointment at so-and-so office. I'm HOPING that's the case because my husband does NOT want to flagpole AT ALL. I was told this was still possible by a consultant, but not sure not that is still the case.

Seems like we're both in a similar situation. Let me know how it goes for you, I'm really curious! I did ask someone on the CIC hotline if you could just come in at a point of entry and land that way and she said only outland people could. It's hard to say.
