On this chart here, I'm curious as to what "CPC-V Referral Files will be transferred to" means. A referral file? Hummm

I think that means if you need an interview, they will try to send the file to an office where it's close to where you live. I'm doing outland so I can't really tell you but that's how I view it.

I think so too. I was doing a little reseach and CPC-V referral files all had to do with needing those lengthy intense interviews. I shall call the god awful CIC hotline on Monday and see what they say again, I'll even enquire them about rescheduling if possible. I guess it's hard to reschedule something that hasnt even been scheduled though haha! I'd still like some info and see if it's even possible. =/

I've just found this topic. I didn't know that Buffalo office is closed, and I put Buffalo as my visa office. I sent out my package to Mississauga just today. Do you, guys, think that it will be ok? Is anyone here from Ohio whose file has already been transfered? I have no idea where they gonna transfer my file.

Haven't seen anyone in Ohio yet. Don't worry about it, they will send it to wherever they see it needs to go. I haven't see anyone for the US go to anything other than LA as of late so not sure.

You will be fine. CPC-M understands Buffalo has been closed and will transfer your file to Ottawa or one of the US missions. But temper your expectations because everything is going to be much slower for a while as they sort through this mess. Perhaps by this time next year things will be "back to normal" (with 45 day stage 1 timeframes, for example.)
