thanks guys for quick replies

I have another question

according to the latest PR application forms, I am not required to show the proof of settlement funds as a provincial nominee. Can buffalo ask for the proof of funds at some time during the PR application processing? because currently I don't have the required settlement funds. Can they ask it when they send medical and if they ask it then do I have to give them 6 months bank statements? can saving certificates in currency other than Canadian dollars can be used for settlement funds ? please reply ASAP

You should check with your DMP. My medical instruction page had specifics on photos that they should be PASSPORT SIZE. Obviously, it means Canadian passport size. But when I asked about the photo size, the DMP receptionist said that it should be PASSPORT SIZE MAX. Anything smaller would work as well.

Does this means that the photos are for the DMO to be saved in the their hospital or this are photos are attached in one of the forms and send to Otawa? well if its for hospital i dont care, but if its for ottawa, then i dont want any delay cos of wrong pics.. any idea guys?

Hello Everyone,

I have received AOR on August 5th via email and I was expecting Med request within a week after AOR. I made an appointment with Doctor for August 18th, but I did not receive Med request as of today. :(

Questions:
-Is it normal?
-Should I do the medical on appt date even I don't receive the Med request?
-Can I do medical with UIC and Application # (no File # yet) or do I need ant doc from medical request package?

Thank you guys being so helpful

Hi guys,

I applied pnp on may 10,2010 and got nominated on Sep 28,2010. The certificate expired on march 28,2011. Then i sent my application to buffalo on Nov 2010. After waiting 3 months, i received a letter from cic office feb 2011 saying that my certificate was about to expried and ask me to apply extension from pnp office. Then i applied a new certificate with expiry date of June 30 2011 and sent it out on Feb 18 through canada post. From canada post's website, the item was successfully delivered on Feb 25 2011.

Not sure if anyone ever have heard about such strange situation, im just wondering should my processing time start from Nove 2010 or Feb 2011. i used clint id to check on cic.gc website but nothing came out. Anyone have any idea when i could expect my file # and med?

Thank you very much!

I only received IMM-1017: Section A - Client Identification & Summary along with other general info/instruction on medical test. It will have your photo attached. You will not have the rest of 6 pages of the Medical Test Form (IMM-5419: Section B~E). The DMP should have it.

NEPTUNE01

YOU SHOULD WAIT FOR INSTRUCTIONS BECAUSE MEDICAL REQUEST HAS AN EXPIRY DATE AND THE DMP WILL SEND THE RESULT DIRECTLY TO EMBASSY WHERE YOU APPLIED. IT IS CLEARLY STATED ON THE MEDICAL INSTRUCTIONS. YOU HAVE TO BRING THAT PAPER WORKS FROM EMBASSY TO THE CLINIC. THAT'S WHAT I DID.
HOPE THID HELPS.
