Buffalo closed...where did all files go?

Hi all,
I have 2 questions.

1- Since Buffalo is now closed...does anyone know for sure where did all applications go?
Has anyone gotten an email or notification indicating this?
I am a APR2011 applicant I have not gotten anything from Buffalo (except medicals OK in OCT2011), can I assume it was transfered to Ottawa?

2- Buffalo seems to have missplaced my FBI record I sent via Fedex in March2012. I have proof of delivery by Fedex, but no decision or news in 14 weeks. What happens if they lost it?
I do have a copy of it, and under the circumstances...can I fax it to Ottawa office? (the first email form Buffalo indicated I could mail it or fax it)

your file SHOULD have been transferred to CPP-Ottawa.

Not clear why you think Buffalo lost your FBI certificate. Just because you haven't heard anything or gotten any response? That really doesn't mean anything, that is SOP (standard operating procedure) I'm afraid...

I think you can expect the closure of Buffalo to add significantly to processing times...

You can always apply for your GCMS notes to find out...

Thank you. I figured that because I have written Buffalo and have had no response (I´ve written them before and got a reply in 2 or 3 days). The web site indicates that the Buffalo office is closed completely. So I thought thay just closed and left everything to Ottawa.
I do take your advice and will wait until Bufallo has something to say.

???? I did not advise to wait for "Buffalo" to respond. There IS no Buffalo VO anymore. But even if they had not closed, they would NOT notify you that they received the FBI cert.

Your file is likely at CPP-Ottawa, and you would need to contact them - but given the recent transfer of Buffalo cases to Ottawa, they are asking that you DON'T contact them unless you need to change your address or update your family status.

So, to be clear, you will NOT get a reply from Buffalo. You should not contact Ottawa. If you want to know if CIC received your FBI cert, apply for your GCMS notes.
