If you immigrate under Ontario PNP are you allowed to land in Montreal Airport instead of anywhere in Ontario ?

Hope someone can help ??

Land under your PNP...No where else!!!
Please note that if u land in Quebec, you'll need a CSQ! Quebec nominees can land in any province but other PNPs' CANNOT land in Quebec coz they were not accepted by Quebec.

You can land at any point of entry in Canada. You can also land at any service Canada office but only by appointment (between 2 to 6 weeks).
The officer may ask you questions such as your home address, Job, etc. This is just to confirm if you still reside in your province of nomination. Also for them to send your PR card.

In my case, I landed in Calgary Airport and I reside in Saskatchewan. So whichever will give you cheaper flight, go for it. Just don't make the mistake of changing your address to that of another province. You will be denied entry at the border.

Goodluck!

Hi Coshx!

Do you mean we can land at a Service Canada office in thr City?! We don't necessarily have to go to any port of entry?!?

Thanks

My online application status recently got updated to In Process.
Any idea how much time it would take after this?

How long after this i will receive passport request?

I have had many correspondence from cic, i submitted my personal history, redone medical for my daughter, they said they extended mine, and i did criminal checks from about 5 countries, i paid my Right to land fee

Now next step is your ecase will show in process. After that it depends on sdcurity checks. I guess it takes 2 to 4 months after ecase changes to in process. I havepaid rprf, pcc, updated personal history and immigration documents proof for usa, then my case changed to in process in last week of august. After that I havent heard anything back from cpp ottawa.
This is what I know.

Thanks

Hi All.

In what envelope is PR card? Is it a lettermail? expedited parcel? Priority mail? or Expresspost?

How long is it usually received after being sent by CIC?

Where's the card sent from?

Thanks a lot, buddy. Indeed surprised to learn that you were still visiting the thread. Old habits die hard. Good to hear from you. Hope you're enjoying and doing well after becoming a PR. Winter is around the corner. I will miss your weather updates this year!

Hello everyone!

Landed today at Sr. Bernard-de-Lacolle, QC. It was nice and smooth.

I'd like to immensely thank you all for answering a bunch of questions I had! Those who are waiting, keep faith and patience, the day will definitely come.
