CONGRATULATIONS!!!...If you live in the U.S, you are gonna get your PP back as regular mail.
Your return showing tracking in transit, might be that they stamped your PP already. In my
case, my visa reads 13th Aug. Same day I got PPR and DM on my Ecas. But I finally Submit my
PP on the 16th and got it back 30th. with the visa date 13th Aug!!
To God be all glories!!!!

Finally, I received our Passport request after quite a long time,
Almost 30 months in the federal dept, We were asked to send them the passports and the photos...

Good luck for so many old friends who have long left the forum, and so many new ones added when we were living elsewhere...

Good luck and never give up hope. though i realize how difficult it is

Hi All,

Regarding this landing confusion. I have another question and hoping that some one in this forum already has similar situation or atleast is aware of.

If you immigrate under Ontario PNP are you allowed to land in Montreal Airport instead of anywhere in Ontario ?
Th e only reason for landing in Montreal is that I can get a cheaper airline ticket.

Hope someone can help ??

You can land at any point of entry in Canada. You can also land at any service Canada office but only by appointment (between 2 to 6 weeks).
The officer may ask you questions such as your home address, Job, etc. This is just to confirm if you still reside in your province of nomination. Also for them to send your PR card.

In my case, I landed in Calgary Airport and I reside in Saskatchewan. So whichever will give you cheaper flight, go for it. Just don't make the mistake of changing your address to that of another province. You will be denied entry at the border.

Goodluck!
