Hi rony,

Actually I got an email last week to submit the original fbi and pcc from home country and personal history for the last year. Fbi takes more than a month, however inhave already applied. Actually I have not travelled to pakistan since 2011 and I submitted police certificate in 2012. But still they are asking for an updated one.

I emailed to cpp Ottawa to discuss the issue and the hey replied now its not valid, you have to tske updated one.

Hope this answer your question.

This is really worrisome to know. I am a Feb 2012 applicant and have not travelled to Pak since 2011 too. I hope they do not ask me to get another police certificate because my family has moved from Pak and it would be a lot of trouble get a new one made.

Hi fartoolong,

Cic asked for my pcc from home country but not for my husband as he is in canada and i m not.

Thanks for that info, Rony84. They are frustratingly random, it seems some people get asked for a new pcc and some don't.

Last time I contacted them after sending RPRF and personal history and after my ecas status changed to in process, they replied "Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time. An immigration officer will be in contact with you if any further correspondence is needed."

It has been over a month now and I have not received any correspondence yet.

Yeah i know its frustrating....exactly after a year cic sent us email to submit some documents..after that no response from them..i dont know how long they will be silent like this...i read somewhere that cic is taking 15-18 months to finalize pnp applications..so if its true i have to wait till september..i really dont know whether we will get ppr this year or not..

Cpp ottawa ask me for personal history for last one year. Can someone on this forum please share the format how should i write it.
Thanks

Hello,

You can create a table either on ms word or excel with the same headings listed in the background declaration form under "personal history". To ease the process, make sure you DO NOT miss a single day to include since your application day till today. It seems that they are about to start your security/background checks.

Good luck :)

Hi Malisa,
Thanks for ur reply...in june my husband got a letter from cic where he was asked to submit my pcc(from my home country), personal history( me & my husband)..i also had to re-did my medical as i m not residing in canada..and Alhamdulillah our ecas changed to in process last month.

Hey Rony84 --- I guess our application history is very similar. I did my medical June, 2012 as Pnp nominee no reply yet. I guess my medical already expired. I emailed them once they processing time is 16 month from the time cpp-o received application. But seeing here many applicants applied in 2010. I read in a news paper this government immigration policy is all about creating conservative vote bank. They won't care if you have degrees or diploma in Canada or you have Canadian work experience or you have Canadian kids, it's all about bringing more conservative voters. I know many of my Filipino or Punjabi friends applied from their country got their PR visa approved with in 1 year from initial application, but people applying inside Canada taking 3 years! Is this joke ? I am sick and tired of Kenney's racist immigration policy. If I become voter they lost my vote that's for sure.

Hello all,

Does anybody know if there is a spreadsheet for FSW applicants whose files were transferred from Buffalo to other visa offices.
I have seen such spreadsheet for PhD stream applicants. It really helps to figure out how fast CIC is processing the applications.

Thanks

Thanks to sharuu who opened this thread. Sincere thanks to all that posted their worries, questions, answers to questions and their progress. You guys made the long wait less painful. I learned a lot.

I got my PP back today. Looking for the nearest border to land!!

I submitted the PCC again, will Ottawa update the ecas( i.e. PCC received)?
How do i confirm PCC is received by them?

Can someone explain what this sentence mean please
"Your application is under revision. We will contact you if necessary."
