I did. it took me a month to get a reply but the answer of his office provided far more detail than replies I ever got from CPP Ottawa.
CIC has laid off so many employees because Canada wants to reduce its budget deficit. It is our backs that are breaking under the burden
because we are foreigners and the most vulnerable in Canada.

Is there anyone here in this forum who has sent email to Minister Jason Kenney?

Speaking of frustration, I initiated my immigration application in Mar. 2010.
I have been waiting for 38 months to get the PPR. Still waiting, no other choice...

Do not worry.
My application is 36 months (12 months more that you) . I have paid the RPRF, May 2012. Also I have done the medical May 2012.
CIC is saying my application is in queue for review.
All of our permits(my study permit, my wife's work permit, my son's visitor permit) will expire on September 1th.
Our visas have been expired, .....

I did, didn't help at all. Write him in late dec, got generic reply in early Feb. I am still waiting. Therefore, I don't believe if it helps at all. The people who think they got PPR by writing him, in my personal opinion, is just a mere coincidence.

Thanks Nima
Yes, there is no more options, just wait.
A month ago, I asked CPP-Ottawa to get any update in my application. They answered me my application is in queues. In their last email they sent a link for withdraw if I am interested. So I don't have any other options ... just wait and hope

I have been checking both inbox and spam folder for quite sometime. So far I have received all correspondence via regular mail, never got any kind of e-mail from them. strange thing is i see on my gcms that re-medical and rprf/passport request has been issued on the same day. how can that be possible? if they issued a mail for passport request, why would they ask us to do our medical again. this is not making any sense to me. this long weekend would be miserable for me worrying about what would happen to my application

Please check your spam mail folder to be absolutely sure. You may have missed the PPR email or mail. The reply you got appeared to me as a generic reply.

My ECAS status has changed from In Process to Decision Made, what does it means? CPP-O received our PP May16th.

It likely means they've printed and mailed your COPR.

@Nima514 ... What do you mean by initiated the application process? I hope you didn't mean to say you file was received @ Buffalo 38 months ago from now. And if you meant applying for your PNP nomination, then it's 39 months for me!

Hi Guys,

I have been following this trail for a long time now. I am a Dec 2011 applicant, i had submitted all my documents along with clearance certificate, Medical reports etc. Recently, i got an email from CIC asking to submit:

1. FBI clearance certificate.
2. Please provide this office with a letter detailing what are your future plans and arrangements concerning your establishment in Canada
3. Updated Personal History.

I am all set with 1 and 3, needed some help with 2.

Has anyone else had to submit this letter as well and can some one guide me what points to mention in this letter?

Thanks!
