BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

Well I have noticed in forums and also some of my friends were asked to submit fingerprints.
But I am pretty sure that many ppl were not asked to provide fingerprints and they were
issued PPR.

Does anyone know why would CIC ask an applicant to submit fingerprints?

My guess is that is that some of the fingerprints were lost or misplaced while transferring the physical files from Buffalo to Ottawa.
OR
They only check the information that were uploaded electronically, such that if your fingerprint or police clearance was not uploaded as at the time of the transfer, you are asked to provide same.

But it says temporary resident visa, study permit or work permit. Or does these implicitly include permanent residence even those within Canada already?

Dont know. Maybe only depends on u r lucky or not... they just pick one?

I was wondering, would someone be so kind to share their PPR e-mail? I just wanna see the requirements, such a busy life and than CIC never ending requirements.

I am not sure, why I didnt get the PPR? I guess RPRF is the last fees, so gay.

Please advise if there are other requirements, CIC may ask for?

No I have not received back...its been only two weeks...if it is 30 days I have to wait more than two more weeks...

is there any one who received their passports back ??

Hi, I know someone who has received his passport from Ottawa after two weeks.

i know someone who applied for PR in April 2011
got PPR request on 18 feb 2012, got the passport back in 2 weeks!

Since CIC failed to provide all pre-Set. 2011 applicants with an update about the progress of their applications I have legitimate reasons to seriously doubt if we are going to be done with CIC by end of summer as originally promised by CIC.
