Did you applied in January 2012 or January 2013?
Are you PNP applicant? If yes what category you applied for 'With Job Offer' or 'Masters/PHD student'? which province nominated you?

hi shakikhaffi, thank you for the reply.

I am a January 2012 applicant under NS PNP. I am an international graduate stream applicant and although one of the requirements was a permanent job which you had worked 3 months, it didn't specify you have to stay with this job till the application is completed. And my work permit is not employer-bonding. I am worried though the change of jobs might affect my application.

I have read online, although not specific to the rules of NS PNP, that one can change jobs after nomination, but will need to resubmit the employer's info and everything to the PNP office, not the federal office. In my case after leaving my original employer in Oct, 2012, I haven't notified the NS PNP office. Will this non-action have any bearing on my application process if I tell Ottawa that I have changed jobs, do you think?

Yup looks like you applied under Job Offer stream, yes you have to notify the NS PNP for the change of job. Does the name of old employer is mentioned in your PNP certificate? If yes then after you submit the proof of employment to CIC they will probably compare it with PNP Certificate, if it differs they will notify the NS PNP about it. You should let NS PNP know about your new employer ASAP and meantime or after you get response from PNP you can send the requested documents to CIC.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for the prompt reply. It is great help and I just emailed my PNP officer and let her know about the change. Hopefully she won't question why it didn't occur to me to notify her until now or even withdraw my nomination because of it...

Well they treat case by case, its not ethical to withdraw the nomination right way but it depends who is the person on other end.. If i be that officer i shouldn't mind as long as you are having the job in same field and you are already contributing to economy.

Sorry for the delay.
1- According to Syed, and my experience, you are not asked to send police certificates.
2- ...
3- I just made a table in MS Word (you can do it in LaTex :) ) 3 columns, Dates, what I was doing, City/Country.

For perosonal history , Are you on job offer ? that just sound too easy.

i think people need to provide letter of employment from the company if they are working.

Just thought i would share my info as i have seen valuable info form others posts.

After not hearing anything for months i finally received an email from cic. They are asking for me to redo my medical as they could not extend it for me. I guess thats a good thing as they are finially looking at my file again!

I have one question though, i had minior surgery on my nose to help improve my breathing. This was done in Canada, where i work and pay my med insurance. Does anyone know if this will be brought up in my medical and/or could it affect my application :( ?
