I think u need police certificate.....officer clearly says where to send police certificate ........I received almost same email .....whole format is same except police certificate part..instead of that he put Shedule 1 and then wrote under schedule 1 that i need to send by email .......

so from my experience you need to send police certificate--------------

for officer code yes he wrote for me as well but above his signature he wrote send docuemnts by email only...............he didnt gave me option to even mail them...........u keep urself on safe side atleast apply for police certificate
Under "Case Status", were you asked to send police certificates or not? Becase Syed says that is what they want and the rest is just email template they use.

if you see "seulkiro" second e-mail that he posted
link http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/buffalo-applicants-file-transferred-to-other-vo-due-to-buffalo-closing-down-t106454.45.html

there you can clearly about police certificate request in doted list.
there is Attention : Officer in the e-mail signature.

and in his first e-mail which is similar to mine
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/buffalo-applicants-file-transferred-to-other-vo-due-to-buffalo-closing-down-t106454.75.html

has the Attention : Officer code.....

Bottom line . I do not see any where in your email requesting for police...if you can get it is well and good...

the mails you received does not mean that they will not ask you updated police certificate
but there is a change that they may ask you later an updated police certificate..
so be prepare for it.

I had same doubt and I was ready will application and every thing..but they did not ask me and sent me PPR...

Hello Folks,

I received an email from CIC today, its simillar email that majority of the folks received, i noticed that the majority of the email follows the same template except the 'Case Status' part. My understanding is, if they require any documents from you, it should be written under 'Case Status' section.

One question to who have received such emails, the email i received today doesn't have 'Case Status' section at all, what does it mean? does it mean they wanted me know the officer is assigned (i can see officer's id in signature) or do they forgot to add it??? any thoughts?
