Sir Alexandre Boulerice which supports our cause is a member of the NDP which has put online a survey about us. Also better prepare his questions in the House of Commons for the Honourable Jason Kenney, Minister of immigration. It is important to complete this survey online. So to the question "Have heard of forgotten Buffalo?" you answer 'Yes'. Then a small series of questions follows. Please fill out the survey it will help our cause.

Just found out that my application might be put on hold until my wife can take her chest x-ray. She's pregnant for about 22 weeks which means that she can't take her chest x-ray. The due date is IRONICALLY July 1st. What a day to have a birth. We've been waiting for PR for almost 2 years now. She can take her chest x-ray after July 1st. If they put it on hold, we probably need to wait another year or more. WTF!! I'm so pissed off. Is there any way that we can extend our medical results that we did in Oct 2011? Does anyone have a similar experience? I was expecting my application can be done in a year or less because I'm a provincial nominee. I've been in Canada for ten f*** years! Man I need a drink. >:( Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm super duper happy with our baby. :)

Hi,

I'm in the same situation. About 3 weeks ago they requested that I redo my medical (originally done in September 2011) and since my wife is pregnant, she of course can't complete the x-ray part. So I sent them an email enquiring about what I need to do if my wife is pregnant. Three weeks later, still no reply. So I called the immigration call centre and because my application was originally submitted to buffalo, they can't even open the file. They told me to send an email enquiry to OttPilot-Immigration. I told her that I already did that but they haven't responded. All she could says was that they should be responding to that.

Hey Guys, I have been away from this forum for about 3weeks now. I imagine a lot have happened.

I am yet to go through what has happened within, but I have a quick question. Has anyone who is pre-September 2011
who did his/her medical in 2011 been asked by CPP-O to re-do the medicals?
I got a mail from Ottawa stating "Due to the closure of the Regional Program Centre (RPC) in Buffalo, your file has been transferred to the Case Processing Pilot Office in Ottawa, Ontario (hereafter referred to by the acronynm “CPP-O”). Henceforth, you must now address all enquiries and correspondence to the CPP-O office, unless directed otherwise.
We apologize for the delay in processing your application that has resulted from the closure of the RPC in Buffalo. It is unfortunate that the medical examination that you underwent last year will have to be re-done, as the results of that examination have expired and cannot be extended."

I did my medicals in Oct. 2011 and not last year and have been in Canada since then till last 3 weeks. My spouse did her medicals in Jan. 2012(last year). Could it be this medical request is for my spouse?
Also, my e-cas status has gone into "In Process", but the "Medicals received" has disappeared.
I am highly confuse.

Same here i received a similar email, like you i'm confuse about the police certificate. Any body in the forum can help us?
Hi guys, i got the same email as you yesterday. I asked them if i should submit my police certificate again and they said they didn't ask for it, at least for now. So i think that they may ask a new one when they analyze the document that we juste sent. We are in the same boat guys, keep in touch!!

I got an email about medical just like yours on the first day, second day got another email about medical again not for me but for my children back in my home country.
If you did not receive a form for medical maybe they don't require you to re-do it.

Thanks for letting us know. It's confusing because they attached it on the same email.

It's very discouraging. I'm not sure what to do. We could do our medicals now. They will probably put our cases on hold until the chest x-ray is taken. But then there is no guarantee that it will be finalized before the 2nd medicals would expire. By that time, they will most likely ask another police certificates because it's only good for three months.
