Hi hmdlsd
same thing happened to me ..but they only asked me to send personal history...

why did they ask CV from you...I do not really get them. we are CSQ holders and that part is done...

I guess I need to get ready with update police certificate...as I visited home country for a month...

Syed

They send me couple of emails.
First it was only history.

Later it was a second email for the CV. maybe because i am in Academia.

what about your BG checks, are they done already?

No idea about that.

Hi
Today I received my GCMS note, they've done absolutely nothing on my case. In front of medical it says passed, expired . I guess it means that they are going to ask me to redo medical and PC. >:(

Well, I have a CSQ and I applied for federal in Dec. 2010. I have no idea when my file is going to be finalized. Today, I learned that my file is in queue for review, whatever that means. My criminality and security checks are not started last time I checked in December 2012.

CIC could have easily avoided all these problems by delaying closure of Buffalo for one year. That would have cost the federal government 70*80000=56E5 or 5.6 million dollars. It is not much in the scale of government budget but it would have made our lives a lot easier.

Hi nima514
are you able to access your e-cas...if not then you probably get an email for redo of medical , and update personal history and possibly police certificate.....

I see CIC is sending mails to QSW applicants who got transferred to Ottawa...

be prepared..

@ nega
thanks. I wish all of us get the permanent residence.

@ syed_h_sha
I still cannot access the Ecas. I have not received a request to redo the medical which is not a good sign. I don't know when BG checks are going to be done or are they even started. I have Microsoft outlook up and running ready to get email from CIC.

I have seen lots of people being asked their CV. Have you guys found out the reason? Is it for Quebec specific applicants only?
