Hi!He applied on 25th april 2011. He did his medical exams on 2011.They sent an email telling that they are going to extend the validity of them on 2012 but on 31st january 2013 they asked him to redo them, and today 1st february, he got another mail asking to provide, birth certificate(translated and scanned and send to an email address), an update of the job he was doing since he applied and to send again the police record.Madelaine said:I have no idea how long it will take ...
I didnot expect I redo medicals
Ottawa, they didnot do process differently, not fairly.
Can u share ur brothers timeline ,please
Did he left Canada during the process? Any idea when his application went in process? Personally I don't think CIC need Canadian PC, they do criminality check through RCMP therefore they don't need PC crime here. Did he ever applied for GCMS?koltu said:Hi!He applied on 25th april 2011. It's so frustrating to him, but at least I believe, hope and pray that he is at the end of this large and slow process...He is an inside canada applicant through BC PNP with job offer.
He is unsure about the police record...does he need to provide criminal record from Canada also??He was living here for the last 3 years...
hi guys ,,I am new to this post my ecas is just change in to in process after 16 month and my medical will expire soonyasmin01 said:My e-cas went 'in process' , I checked it today but it says processing started on 25th January. I was wondering the people who have been asked for more papers like police clearance, medical etc. what does your e-cas say? And also, what does this 'in-process' mean? Is it in the final stage or they have just started working on my file?

joryl said:Hello everyone. I am a BC PNP applied in Buffalo office on May 6,2011. My husband and kids were included in the application , I am in Canada while they're back home in the Philippines. We did our medical in September 2011 . Our files were transferred to Seattle March 2012. Last Thursday, I got an e-mail from Seattle office asking if I got all passports for entire family and if I can go to Seattle office on Monday or Tuesday for stamping. According to the e-mail, their last business day is February 6, 2013 and if I can not provide documents by that time our files will be transferred to Los Angeles for further processing.
Anyway, I'm glad I got all our passports with me since 2010 so I don't have to worry about how to get it. I always thought I must have these documents handy in case they will ask. I also asked my hubby to send photos every 6 months. It's better to be ready all the time. As it happened, they requested our passports nothing else! It could be frustrating to wait again if our files will be transferred to Los Anageles. I booked hotels and flights to Seattle and the prices are trippled but it's okey, it's worth it.
So guys, we've waited almost 20 months but we didn't give up .
Big lesson, always have documents handy. If you're police clearance expired, renew it, they might ask it anytime just like my husband's police clearance. Valid photos should always be handy.
This is a such a long post but I hope it will give hope to everyone who's been waiting for so long.
[/quoteHi joryl,
Congratulations, you're one step closer to getting PR. I am also from the Philippines. Good thinking on your side, keeping your family's passport. I am a june 2011 applicant and i never received an email from CIC about where my files go. i sent an email to Ottawa and they confirmed that they have my files( generic email reply)
Yep that's what i did.sinp281001 said:Congrat!!
