CSQ,
December 2010 applied for Federal
May 2011 medical check
Sept 2012 medical (but without government mail/e-mail, based on personal decision) .....

Hi, I have been following this forum for quite a while already. I have contacted my MP twice in early December and mid of January and I was told that the processing of my application are completed. The only thing that is missing before my file can be finalized is the landing fee and I can pay for it already without having to wait for the letter of comfirmation from the visa office. I emailed the visa office in Ottawa regarding this matter but till date I have not receive any reply from them. My question is,what do mean by (but without government mail/e-mail, based on personal decision).

I didnot expect I redo medicals
Ottawa, they didnot do process differently, not fairly.

Can u share ur brothers timeline ,please

Lot of people got updates from CPP today but it's unfortunate that they have to redo their medicals due to CPP incompetency.

Ok so my question is, why did they say only do medicals when asked to do them if they ask us to do them again!
Also who will pay for my time, medicals and other expenses, just had to renew visa which cost 300 and if have to re do medicals that will be up to 500 dollars and a day of work, it's a joke!!

Hi guys

I was wondering if they need a Police certificate from my home country. The problem is I haven't been there since 2008. Therefore the one I sent with my application was from 2011. (my mom got it for me)

So, should I get a police certificate from my home country? or just send a new one from Canada

thanks

It's depends on home country....like for India you can get from Indian Embassy

@ chimbombo

I dont think so they asked you to reappear for medical. They generally explained medical exam situation in letter. It says that if medical is required then u will receive separate instructions....its seems that u need police certificate and job letter only --------I think u need police certificate from any place where u lived more then 6 months after 18 year age.........................

yes they asked me to repeat medical exams on a separate email.

I'm just worried about the police certificate from my home country. because the one I sent with my application is from March 2011, and I haven't been outside Canada since October 2008. So, I don't understand what is the point to get a new police certificate from my home country. If I haven,t been there. Or should just explain the situation on a separate letter?

I was wondering if something like this would be fine

"Dear sir or madam

I'm not able to provide an updated police certificate from X country. I haven't been there or any other country since October XX, 2008. The day I landed in Canada.

The police certificate from X conutry that I sent with my application is from March 1st, 2011. Therefore, that police certificate haven't changed, because at that moment I was already living in Canada.

Please, if you need more information don't hesitate to contact me.

Best Regards"

The point is. why I need to update the police certificate from my home country. If the one I sent with my application is newer (2011) than the time I have been in Canada (I have been in Canada since 2008 without leaving the country) So, It's impossible to commit a crime or something illegal after October 2008 in my home country.

I'm more than clear that I need to update the police certificate from Canada.

Reading all the updates from the members since yesterday. I have few questions in my mind.

How do you get police certificate from Canada?

What if one had lived in separate cities within Canada. How
do we obtain police certificates?

And I remember first time I submitted my application I only submitted
my home country's Police Certificate. At that time I had already lived
in Canada for 2 years. They never sent me an email to send CA PC. And
all my friends who got PPR were never asked to submit PC for CA.
So I am kinda confused that whether we need PC for CA or not?

The email from CPP-O which was sent to other members is not clear.
What the heck? Really we have morons working in CIC and Kenny
is worst of them.
