Hi Julie,
Well i got ppr from seattle as well ,
I sent my passport to them like a week and a half ago ,
After recieving my passport ecas changed to decision made,Did yours change as well.

You dont have to worry about tracking and all,
I just included a 9* 12 envelope as the email suggested.
So when are you expecting your passport from seattle?

Hey Sharru,

I have a question. What tracking number are you guys checking when you sent your passports? Becuase, i got the following instructions below to send my passport. Ahh its going to be 4 weeks on Monday since, i sent my passport and still haven't got it back.

IF YOUR MAILING ADDRESS IS IN CANADA:

Please include a plain 9" x 12" self-addressed "Canada Post Photo Mailer" envelope. .

The Consulate will send all mail to addresses in Canada via regular mail (U.S. Postal Service First Class Mail) only. We will not use registered mail, certified mail, Canadian postage coupons or Canadian Xpresspost envelopes. The Consulate is not responsible for any items lost in the mail.

We look forward to your early compliance with this request.

He applied August 2012? It takes atleast a few months just to get AOR and another month to get medicals evaluated. He got PPR in 4 months?

Applied in August and medical in Sept? Everybody knows that it takes up to 2 months to get AOR. So I can't believe.

I have come to believe that it is a matter of luck!

umm.I guess I am the only pre sep 2011 applicant left being waiting for PR.I am seriously thinking about giving up and going back to
my home country.
You're not the only one. Far from it. 10000 applications were dumped onto the VO in Ottawa when the VO in Buffalo was closed. Lots of people should have their jobs. We're not the only people suffering.
I personally think it's a matter of luck, whether the box containing our application is opened first or last. It is so silly but I guess it's true.
