Hey.. Thanks a lot for the kind words. I really hope that you get your PPR soon! Ottawa is working really hard at getting PPR done so it shouldnt be much longer

Hi Simu789

I cannot tell you how to proceed, but you have 4 options. Depending on your personal feelings you can

1) Do nothing. Your passport request will come. The less pressure you put on the system the more the office can concentrate on processing all cases (including yours).
2) You are well over the advertised processing times (11 months), so you can e-mail cpp-o and ask for an update. ("please can you send me re-assurance that my file has been transferred etc." Be polite) You should then get a reply after about 3 to 4 weeks. It will be semi-generic, but if it will make you feel better...then it may be worth it.
3) Apply for your case notes under the privacy act. That will give you more info. And will take up to 30 days. (That is where I am, waiting for these, so I cannot give you info on how these expect to look). See page 16 of this forum.
4) Contact your local MP. People on this forum have done that. But the general feeling is that there is a risk (unquantified) that this may slow things down.

PS Applied May/June 2011... Meds done Nov 2011, then heard absolutely nothing until last week. Wrote asking for update Nov 2012 and received encouraging reply. Applied for gcms notes 1 week ago and awaiting response. Will update this forum when they arrive.

Actuallay i went to see MP already in first week of August, 2012, he said that my file has been transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa on July 7th. It has not been assigned to an Immigration Officer . And last month i send them email i didnt get any reply from there. So now i dont know what to do. Anyway thanks for your advice.
