I cant say for sure.. but from my understanding checks are initiated when AOR is issued. When checks comeback your eligiblity is passed and your ecas usually goes in process. 8 months in my case!

that was the goods news the bad news is that I just got GCMS and according to that my file hasnt been reviewed anytime lately...

first ecas, now GCMS as well?
seems nothing is reliable.
but maybe it's a good thing which suggests that VO's at Ottawa are working hard without wasting even a second to update the system

I think they are working hard and soon we will hear something from them. Just be patient and it shall not be too long from now
