the ECAS only shows the status for primary applicant, not the dependent or spouse. The only way you can get medical status for non-primary applicants is to apply GCMS, which will tell you the medical status, pass or not, for each of them. But you need to ask your spouse to sign a separate form to authorize such release when you fill out your authorization form. Check out previous posts this threat for more infor how to apply GCMS.

Hello Guys, do anyone know where i can apply for my GCMS ??

Please refer to page 16 of this thread. However, it might be old. I think these days applicants are getting there GCMS within 10 days of applying for the same. I'm not sure if the application process still remains the same. Good luck.

Arrived Canada on Work Permit May 2009
Granted Saskatchewan Nomination Feb 2011
Applied Buffalo May 2011 - Received June 2011
REceived acknowledgment of receipt September 2011
Medicals received November 2011

How do I change my address on CIC Website ?

I go to home page and log in "I need to check application status" with
UCI number. No Problem.

I click on "update this mailing address" And fill in the fields.

However it does not accept the update unless I tick the check box

"Please remove the ability for me or anyone else to view the status of
my application and address information on this Web site.
Note: Once you withdraw your consent, your application status and address
information will no longer be available on the Internet.
Learn about other ways of receiving information about the processing and
status of your application and updating your address information by
contacting us."

Do you really have withdraw the ability to check the application status
just to change address ? That seems to high a price to pay.

I hope some of the more experienced members can help out.

Thanks

When you recevied AOR did you receive a form for change of address. If you did use that else contact your Visa office for the change. I dont think ECAS should be used to update address.

Hello Guys,

I am under QSW category. I am still waiting for my medical from past 8 months.

Applied to Federal (sydney) - March 2012
AOR - April 2012 ( Only AOR, No Medical request was part of it)
File Transferred to Ottawa - May 2012
Medical - Waiting, Waiting and Waiting

Is there anyone in similar boat (waiting for medicals!!)??

Thanks for your reply. But even for myself, ECAS still just shows "application received". I just checked with my medical office, my report was sent and delivered in June by Fedex. Anyone has any idea how long does it take for CPP-O to update status?

Also, I got an email reply last Friday from CPP-O saying that my address was updated. But in the system, it is still the old one. Anyone knows why?

ECAS isnt a reliable tool, just get GCMS Notes and it should show they have changed your address. I think your address will get updated on ECAS when they do the download (usually when the address goes away on ECAS)..

I have seen in certain QSW cases whereby they dont request medicals until they have completed all the checks, that might be your case. You can request GCMS to provide more clarity.

Congrats, did they ask for employment letter or other documents?
Also, did you file your case in Buffalo on Jan 2012 or July 2011?

I still have my best wishes for you Sharuu.
