Dear Mr. Boss

I am a man of tolerance!

But I did not get the point. Did you agree on what i said, or you think I am wrong.I might be. I have no good fact supporting it, except couple of other fellows around telling me their stories.

I think the wait has frustrated everyone here,

but here is my point.

Even if it is BG checks, what can we do about it?
Honestly, Nothing

Like myself.
Tried Emailing, the notes, the MP ...

It did nothing. nothing moved. nothing triggered the process.
See , the file has not been touched since July. that is about complete 3 months.

I say it is the closure, because in my case, it is written the security has not been started.
If it was, it should have changed to in process.

I feel the same

My permit ended on Aug. I have renewed it for Apr 2012
I might have to get a new one, i might have to leave here

but the life never stops.
Do whatever you like

This is really important
Wasting your time to get it today or tomorrow, ruins your life and happiness.

Don't ever let anyone, CIC or any other thing, take happiness and joy out of your life

I have learned a lot here with you,
When I am not here, I am there doing what I really like.

work, watch movies, books, and one day, the pain will end.
and then you are going to miss all these days.

it was like an advise, and I know not everyone likes it
Sorry folks. but don't give up

keep fingers crossed

Romeo Romeo .. where are thou :d

I totally agree with you, I dont think its because of quote or because of checks we havent received PPR. Quite simply its the dealy due to closure. 3-4 months have at a minimum been added due to the closure and that is the reason. Its a fact that its closure increased our wait. NS cant process the cases as its just an initial processing hub assisting Ottawa..

To me, I am not much bothered at this point. I have crossed the point of bothering and after waiting for so long you just wait for that day and you know its over... I dont let it put me down!

Any inland applicants wait for PPR in their home country? Is there any risk doing so?

Thanks,

Yes, my note came last month. Medical passed, criminality in process, security not started, eligibility not started. the due date is Nov/10/2012 so I plan to go back to home country if PPR does not arrive by then since I would have no idea how much longer it will be. So I am just wondering if there is any risk in doing that.

Another question is to all the QSW applicants, does any of you get requested for more documents? what kind of documents? I would like to prepare everything before I head back.

Regards,
Ep

The CIC didn't ask me for any more documents. I sent the police certificate from my home country and also from the RCMP with my federal application. I have been waiting 22 months now since Dec. 2010 and all I know from my GCMS notes is that my application is under final review with eligibility "passed". but I have no clue when a PPR will be issued. I have been waiting since July 2012 for it to be issued. that is more than 3 months by now.

I don't know why you want to come back to your home country but if you can stay in Canada i think it is better if you do that because CIC might not extend your medical exam (which is likely to expire by the time a PPR is issued.) or provide a new police certificate if you leave the country and stay abroad for more than 6 months.

I have heard that since we have a CSQ we can stay in Quebec until a decision is made on our immigration file. I am not sure about this but you can certainly do a follow up on that. Schools have student advocacy groups that help students with such services for free or a very low price.

btw, I think it would help if all of us put our nationality under our username.

I have a question for you: could you please share the info under "Security" in your GCMS notes? Is there a sub activity called "security screening"? If so, what does it say under "security screening"?

Hope all of us get PPR soon!!!

Yes there is a sub activity for that.
but it says nothing.

i think they were removed (erased) intentionally.

no more that i can tell in this part.
as far as i know, this part is almost blank for others too, since it is related to security.

Dec. 2010. with my Fed. application. I had prepared PCC from my home country by the time my CSQ was issued. It took me 2 or 3 months to get it.

Contacting your MP is a good option because MPs might give you more specific
information for example why the file is stuck in security checks or BG checks.

The MPs inquiries to the VO might trigger some kind of activity on your file which
is a good thing rather than your file just collecting dust in a storeroom or catching
some virus in the harddrives. :P

The way I see it MPs are on the lookout for future voters so any assistance from
their side will definitely will win them more voters. They cannot influence your file
but might speed up the process if persistent inquiries are made from their office.

A lawyer is useful if your case was rejected or CIC raises some kind of objection
to your file otherwise they pretty much do the same thing and charge 1000s of dollars
just for making inquiries.

I know these r desperate time for everyone but be careful before hiring a lawyer......

Good Luck!!!!
