I think your case is being stuck due to medical extension only.....any idea how long that takes? is that done over email from VO to Ottawa regional health center?

Not a clue.. According to GCMS it should say Medical: Passed - Expired. Actually, one year from when you did your medical, the file will be updated to expired. From that point to the next time a VO sees your file, they might send it for extension. The job of Ottawa is done, we are not re-evaluating our medical just extending it. I think a due date will be given and a new VO shall be allotted.

I do know someone whose file got transferred in May, medicals expired but PPR in Mid August. So, it isnt taking long the regular 3-4 months! Is anyone getting GCMS lately?

Well good thing is you have been assigned to a VO...Yeyyyyyyyyy . Bad thing is you have to wait for 2 more months. Usually if you stay 6 months or more anywhere you need to provide PCC. Its highly unlikely for an inland PNP applicant to go back home for 6 months after he filed the application. May be the VO is trying to update all the documents, but I still think he is buying some time.

I just went back one time for 3 weeks during this years.

i do not know this moving is because i talked to MP last Friday or no. just update information.

Just got my GCMS.

Criminality: Passed (finally)
Medicals: Passed - Expired
Security: (Updated from Not Started to (blank))
Eligibility: Passed (on July 26. Same day my application went In Process on eCAS)

Looking further into the notes, my Criminality check was completed on July 26 and based on that, my eligibility was determined. Status for criminality and eligibility were both updated on July 26.

Application was originally transferred to Ottawa on May 16.

In a note from visa officer, "RCMP reports are NRT. Pakistani PC on File. Criminality passed. Medicals are passed valid to 11 Sep 2012. Meds may require extension"

Under Security sub-activities, there is a sub-activity assigned to RC-9515. However, there is no 'date created' or due date written.

I don't know if I am close or not looking at the fact that all checks have been done for almost 3 months. Can't really tell what seems to be the reason for the delay here.
