I have friends in post sept QSW PPRs. the ones sent to Buffalo directly and not Sidney.
No news in their cases yet.

I will have my Medicals expired this week

It seems they are processing applicants after july - applicants from september august and november have gotten PPR this month!

What do you guys think the maximum time it will take to get PPR for your case?

The soonest i think would be mid-oct to mid-nov.
if not, we should wait for the next year...

unless something good happens for us meantime.

Maximum it shouldnt take more than 6 months from July which is around January! I still believe we should see us getting PPR before year end. We need to be hopeful and be optimistic at this point!

It has been about 3 months since our files got transferred, it should be enough time for them to organize it and put us in batches. I think October should bring news for us !!

I do agree with you Sharuu.
Good news is ahead...
And hope, is still the best of things...

I might get my notes this week if i am lucky.

Thats good.. I believe they would have been printed in september, I hope by now someone at Ottawa has checked your file and a due date is more reasonable than 1 year from AOR - issued by Buffalo.

However, once you get them it should make you feel more comfortable !! :D

Hope so buddy.
As french say, no news is good news (sometimes i guess)

Well.. thats what we have been living by for so long, eh! So, you from Montreal then? Hows the city .. never been there actually!

So far, I have liked montreal the most, compared to Toronto, ottawa, quebec.
Not easy for Anglophones to work and live here, but not very bad.

I Have not been in Van. yet.

Vibrant and happy, all the time.
harsh winter tough.
Montreal, I like it a lot.
and Rainy these days

Why didnt you like toronto? If you come from a big city, most people like toronto. More opportunities more home like feeling for most people. Its very busy however and takes a lot of time to go anywhere else. Ottawa is a much smaller and quieter city with most government jobs over there..

Actually thats a good comparison for your case. I have seen August-sept applicants getting PPR so you shouldnt be that far off. It has been a year for you and I think your file shouldnt be that far off with PPR. Its time to get excited buddy :)

thanks for the positive words Sharuu...

thing is, I am not sure when my file was transferred...I think September applicants were transferred in May?

Pre-September applicants were transferred a bit later I think...PPR will be issues according to the transfer sequence I guess.

You are correct in saying when you got transferred you shall be getting PPR. But, we cant say pre sept applicants were transferred in July. The data is inconsistent so cant really say, the only way to confirm is GCMS. If May transfers are being getting PPR it means they are taking 4-5 months to get PPR. I think July transfers should start hearing around nov-december as well.

Yep. that's when my file was created. Nothing in front of group name :( Transferred 7/7 like us all, but in paper file history (note 1 which is the latest) office is buffalo :( but it also says transferred. Primary office is ottawa.

eligibility, security: not started; criminality in progress since oct 2011, medicals passed.

Also guys, there are a lot of information that's incorrect/not updated. Like my degree, my work experience, and that I am currently employed and not student. Does that affect my chances. How can I update this information?

The updated date on the first page, is that july 7th also?
