Yep. that's when my file was created. Nothing in front of group name :( Transferred 7/7 like us all, but in paper file history (note 1 which is the latest) office is buffalo :( but it also says transferred. Primary office is ottawa.

eligibility, security: not started; criminality in progress since oct 2011, medicals passed.

Also guys, there are a lot of information that's incorrect/not updated. Like my degree, my work experience, and that I am currently employed and not student. Does that affect my chances. How can I update this information?

When were your notes printed? It seems no acitivity at Ottawa. When you say the information is not updated, you mean you contacted them to change it and it hasnt been made yet? If so, when did you send them the updated change.

i am still not able to get it, so many cases with one year waiting after Medical.
Everybody around me got their PR within 5 months after medical.
some even got their PR, within 7 months since they filed the application.

I have seen in some forum for 2012 CPP-Ottawa applicants, they get the instruction with their medical to contact CPP-Ottawa if didn't hear anything in 120 days after the medical. So when 2012 applicants contacting CPP-Ottawa they are getting good response. For 2011 applicants we don't have such instruction. Ours used to have 1 year processing---- then extended to 15 months---now advised to count the processing time from the date of AOR---3 months transfer time added---a speculation of medical extension as most of the medicals are expired. Its unfortunate CIC didn't streamline the transfer cases under a project. Nobody knows what will happen, so we are trying to be more patient and waiting for some good news :).

I believe October will bring us some good news :). As most of the medicals are expired, with a 3 months extension CPP-Ottawa is cappable to complete the processing.

I'm a 2012 applicant and my 120 days passed a month ago. I emailed them right away, got no response. Emailed them again two weeks later, still no response!

I have seen people from Feb/March 2012 AOR are getting PPR. You may hear something soon :). What is your ECAS status?

i am Feb(for federal) applicant ;D and there was no instruction for 120 days. I think that was valid only for the those guys whose files were transferred to ottawa in early phases. like dec/jan/feb.

When you received AOR, did they say how much is the processing time? I thought it said 10 months ?

I think AOR is the email in which they sent my file number, right?
they have given the link for buffalo site for timeline, they didn't mention anything in that.

You have applied to buffalo (don't know why and how) but most 2012 applicants submitted to Sydney, NS and the 120 days is applicable to Sydney, NS applicants I guess.

is it 10 months from the date it says "we received your file on XXX" or from the date of the AOR?

i find that a bit funny...last year where i had my CSQ interview (mid-september, Montreal), they told me to send it to Buffalo...it was also written on my CSQ Paper,...but... they must have known they're closing down soon...things like this don't happen from one day to another...

just thinking....

I am PNP Ontario applicant and even i am confused why my application was sent to buffalo.
This was done by my lawyer, never had control over it.
