There is way too much desperation, this will make life go crazy if we literally count hours, etc. This is immigration and it takes time. Just relax a let 2-3 months go by...you will be surprised to find the good news down the line.

The best way to look at it is to forget about it for a few months more....

Please put your feet in our shoes, you will realize how hard it could be. We don't know whats going on with our files. Most of our medicals are expired, something in my knowledge never happened before. No one knows if there will be extension or new medical, we have the speculations only.

Its not that easy to let it go at this point, people on this thread have all crossed 15 months waiting time. After 15 months are over, its tough to let time go by!

I agree with Sharuu.
I never looked at my timeline until June 2012. the first year was OK. no one really expects anything there.
But when you are where we are standing at the moment, one year after doing medicals and not heard a single good (or even bad) news so far, it is different. it feels like being lost in limbo.
you can't simply ignore the time machine. it is your life, and every minute counts.

but here we find ourselves not really alone. too many similar cases. ;D :)

@QBcool

I'm not desperate :) it isn't that long for me anyway, a total (includes CSQ waiting) is has been 2 years in 4 weeks time...so...checking several times a day Ecas for updates has become more of a "routine" every day, and waiting for "the" email, rather than desperately Waiting.
it would just be "convenience" in my case. 1st i'm eager to leave my job before xmas, and 2nd i booked flight tickets in april for mid/end december, thinking, everything would be done by then, would be nice if it would be done until then...if not....well, then so be it.... :)
there are worse cases then mine.

I agree with curt_cobain and hmdlsd.

I understand, I just hope we all get the ppr soon!

What happened about your case, the london issue?
I ordered for GCMS, at least I hope to know the exact location of my file. The MP's assistant was not precise on the information
he gave me.

Please look into the eligibility, criminality, security section under Assessment. Basically the first 2-4 pages will give you most of the information.l Also you can look into secondary VO, group etc. Also could you pls let me know what information is listed in "Work Experience", "Arranged Employment" section under eligibility. When was your file transferred to Ottawa? Thanks

Hello,
So i have been watching this thread for a while, we are a june 2011 applicant.
Medicals Nov 2011 and since then nothing!
it is very fustrating, I feel our lifes are on hold until we finish it. In some strange way it makes me feel better that this forum is here!
We have applied for our GCMS notes and waiting on them before we spend 300 dollars on extending our visas which run out in December!
Every Tuesday is the day we check emails all day!
my ECAS login says application received june 30th 2011 and medicals recieved and that is it!
We have no idea where our application is and thats the worse part, i am in canada at least and can continue to work but what in all of the mess (which it clearly is a mess) they have lost our file?!
Bored of waiting!!!

H

When was your file created, if it was around Oct 17 2011 - this due date is 1 year from the created date. It also means your file hasnt been looked at Buffalo. Do you have something in front of group name? If not, VO hasnt been assigned to your case. What is the last comment under Notes, if its about the file transfer then thats the last thing that happened to your case.

Under Paper File History - whats the last date of transaction and Visa Office? If its ottawa then, thats the date it got transferred.
When were your notes printed off?

I know we keep talking about 15 months, but when I applied it was under a year and later changed to 15 months..

i am still not able to get it, so many cases with one year waiting after Medical.
Everybody around me got their PR within 5 months after medical.
some even got their PR, within 7 months since they filed the application.

Yep. that's when my file was created. Nothing in front of group name :( Transferred 7/7 like us all, but in paper file history (note 1 which is the latest) office is buffalo :( but it also says transferred. Primary office is ottawa.

eligibility, security: not started; criminality in progress since oct 2011, medicals passed.

Also guys, there are a lot of information that's incorrect/not updated. Like my degree, my work experience, and that I am currently employed and not student. Does that affect my chances. How can I update this information?
