I am a May 2011 applicant from QSW category.. Talked to my MP and he said there is no change on my file in last one month or so. No visa officer assigned yet. She doubts if I would get a PPR by Dec. My medical will expire by mid Nov.

CPP-O told me to do online or call CIC call centre to update the address...
when I did on-line it never updated and finally had to call CIC and updated the address... and it updated in e-case with in two weeks time...

but you know my recently got GCMS notes still shows the old address....??

I have the same issue: updated address in ecas a year ago, and also sent them emails. After a month or so, my new address was updated in ecas. But GCMS notes still show the old address.
But I guess it is fine, right?

@clare2012

i would call CIC and make sure they have the new adress, because if GCMS still shows the old adress, that means they haven't changed it in your file yet. Ecas is not reliable, and it happened already a couple of people who updated via Ecas, but the old adress still existed.
GCMS is a print out of your current file.

Sharuu, I am on the same boat as you are with my WP expiring in May next year. I appreciate your optimism and I sincerely hope that you get your PPR soon. Hang in there..

Hey.. We should be optimistic, if not it will be much more difficult for us. Try to stay positive and support each other. There is light at the end of the tunnel :)

Have you ever ordered GCMS? Is your ECAS app received?

I hope you guys know you cant update the address using Ecas? If you received AOR from Ottawa, there must be change address form in that email? You should use that to change the address..

My file has not updated since 16 May this year...no one count on the ECAS...I recommend every one who passed 18 month to contact his MP...

Assuming that they are extending medicals by 3 months, doesnt that mean that they would like to finalise the cases 3 months from its original expiry? I hope thats an indication by when maximum we should be expecting something?

Your ECAS should change to Decision Made in 1 weeks time. It shouldnt be that long now!

You will soon find out CIC's step on medical in your new GCMS.
