nothing to worry about.... no effect...! same thing for me since June.... I didn't move either....

I just crossed my due date today according to last GCMS note. No news yet. :( :( :(
Don't know how many more days it will take! 15 months and counting!!!

The double Address box, are the same. I did not change the address either.
I dont think it is important at all. maybe some web programming.

Nothing to worry about.

I have been waiting for almost 18 months.
I have recently asked for a GCMS notes, have not received it yet. maybe in 2 weeks.

I am considering an MP as my final way of commuication, if I dont hear any news until mid-Oct.
Not sure if this is the best actually.

Dont even count December. We just have 2 more months at this point, I want to be optimistic but doesnt look good for pre sept applicants.

Sharuu, I am on the same boat as you are with my WP expiring in May next year. I appreciate your optimism and I sincerely hope that you get your PPR soon. Hang in there..

I have almost the same timeline as you.

I was wondering is someone knows how much time in advance can I apply to extend my work permit?

thanks

I suggest you to apply 3 months before the work permit expires..the processing time is 2 months..if there is some thing wrong...you can re-apply again...that gives you time...

and check people say that there is possibility that you can get WP at the borders..it is fast....check the forum for details..

Its been almost 22 months for me (including the PNP nomination time frame). I have given up opportunities in States and in other provinces. I haven't applied in CEC application stream. Thought I will get the PR in a year. That's how the norm was. Now immigration Canada closed down the Buffalo to restructure the immigration process so it would be faster. What I have seen--- there is no single activities in my file since January. I have bound my fate with this PNP application. My life could be different if I have chosen a different path. I have already invested 4 years into this and 22 months of waiting. I have paid huge amount of taxes. Some people working in states or other countries getting visa faster than me. I don't have any grudge against them. But is it a fair policy to me? 2012 applicants may have a different time line to process. But bringing down buffalo office and delaying 10 months in my file, is it fair?

CIC should have set a priority on our files, rather than giving a year to process. Why would a visa officer process a file voluntarily before the set target date? They will process the November/December 2011 files to meet targets and get their bonuses/promotions. I don't blame them. Is Min. Kenney/CIC is doing a fair practice to us? I don't think so.

So if we don't see any updates/PPR for July transfer cases by November 7 (July 7- Nov 7, 4 months) I think we should send a petition to Min. Kenney's dept.

These are my two cents.

Hey guys I have been following this thread for a long time now. The wait is so frustrating......
Here is my timeline

App filed: April 18, 2011
Medical: sometime in Oct 2011
In process since May 21, 2012

Hope we all hear something soon!!

I am a May 2011 applicant from QSW category.. Talked to my MP and he said there is no change on my file in last one month or so. No visa officer assigned yet. She doubts if I would get a PPR by Dec. My medical will expire by mid Nov.

hello guys! anyone knows the best way to update the residential and mailing address. I updated mine on ecas, and it has not been updated after 3 weeks. Should I email CPP-O or Fax?

If you are PNP, you can approach your PNP office four months in advance of your WP expiry to get a WP support letter. I heard that they provide such letters on a case by case basis.
To CIC, i think you can do it 2 months in advance.

as you are in Canada only I guess there is no need to go for medical again. unless if you visited another country in between...
