sharuu i have a question; your medical is expiring this month so, do you have to do your medicals again?
Mine expires in two months as well.
I applied for pnp around the same time you did. But my file is in Seattle.
I don't know how much longer i have to wait!

If they need another medical exam, they will ask for it. I have heard they can extend medicals for 3 months for INLAND APPLICANTS if thats the only thing leftover.

So, who is the latest member of the Elite PPR Group?

i find the Medical Exam "funny" in my case. I'm already here since July 2010.....and my Meds were in May 2012. If I would have had any contagious disease(s), half of canadian population would have been infected by now anyway.... to late to check for syphilis....hiv....etc.. :)

Hi,

My GCMS note of July 23rd showed due date August 30th, which have passed and am yet to hear anything ! Now I'm here with 2 questions -

1. When I contact my MP via e-mail, do I send my information (i.e file number, client id number) right away and ask them to give me an update? Or do I contact them, if they ask me then I would send the information?

2. I heard that you can apply for government health insurance (OHIP for Ontario residents) after your medicals have been done. Can anyone tell me the process of applying for health card in that category?

Thank you very much.

Regards

Yasmin

cvd - youre next buddy. As i mentioned earlier, 2012 applicants are ahead of 2011 in the queue, so they are more than likely to get PPR!

It seems like 2 months from the time a VO reviews your file at Ottawa. 7th July was the date file got transferred, if you are ordering GCMS you should look for when the last time your file got reviewed.

I hope so, my friend. My ecas isn't even in process yet! I just received my GCMS and it's exactly the same, except for the lines where it says that I requested for my GCMS notes. But staying positive for all of us...
