u haven't emailed detroit, rite? email them, make up some reason. so they might tell u that u file is in detroit, or if not, they might tell u exactly which office has it.

Emailed both Ottawa and Detroit yesterday, none of them replied!

I think August 14th should be the time by then I should get something from either Ottawa or Detroit ?

August 14th is 3 months from may 14th thats y when they started processing my case... GCMS Notes wont be getting them until the end of this month!!

i remember i read in this forum, some1 applied the notes, and in the notes it said there is a deadline or something, and he was like u, predicted a date for approval, and it turned out he got his ppr 2-3 weeks before that date. but still, he was pretty much right about that deadline. so maybe u wanna look over that notes again, see is there such a date?

Havent gotten the notes yet, will end of the month! Hopefully, something comes up when I get them. I am assuming if in process is may 14 it means file got transferred around that time so shouldnt take that long, max 3 months since then?

by the way, the gcms notes is actually prepared by the visa officers, so when u request the notes, and when cic print the notes for u, they have to open ur file (that's y on gcms notes website, it says requesting gcms notes may delay ur process or something). that's wut i was told in another forum by a guy. that dude actually got his ppr on the same day the notes was printed. so he believed that by printing out the notes, visa officers had to open his file, and noticed he was ready to get ppr, and that's how he got it. lol

I dont really agree as they are just print screens if you are requesting the notes by email. But, if you actually request the entire file in mail then they need to open the file and photocopy them and then send it to you. So, it might be a coincidence but i doubt that really helps.

I just really hope that;s true. Ordered GCMS notes and will be expecting it on the first week of July which is my 15th month. Never expected it will take that long, though (sigh)

What is the best timing to conduct GCMS? For instance, how many months passed since application received, or home many weeks passed since medical done, etc?

what is the exact step by step to do GCMS? What is the website, how much to pay? credit card okay? how long to get result? I am in the US, anything I need to know compared to the guys in Canada?
