so PPR is approximately 3 months after ecas goes into "in process"?

Thats what the norm is for Ottawa..Since AOR is issued they give one due date, 2-3 months if all is well or missing document then it goes to in process and then 2-3 months from that time PPR is issued. AOR to PPR 6 months for Jan Applicant! I dont usually look at IN PROCESS but from AOR its a better indicator!

I think thats a good estimate, but I also do think you should go In Process somewhere, which means you are getting further closer to PPR!

My case is hitting 16 months too. We are just with bad luck, I guess. A bit annoyed by the processing...

My friend applied half year later than me got his PPR last Friday. He sent his application to Buffalo and then medical results were transferred to Ottawa this Feb, 2012.

My ECAS is still :
Application received in April, 2012 and Medical Received...

Yeah.. I wonder if it has anything to do with 2011 applicants getting their files transferred.

There is nothing we can do other than wait.. If you havent, try getting GCMS Notes - it should give you a better idea about your file.

Thank you for your suggestion, Sharuu. You are really nice. How do you send the application form? By mail or email? Which way is faster? Also, does it help to update my employment status? Thanks.

if your ECAS says your application received in April 2012, (not 20111 !!!), you have not applied for 16 months, just 4 months, UNLESS your ECAS says it is April 2011.

this is not AOR. You should receive AOR by email if your VO is Ottawa. Now, where is your AOR? Did you get MR (MEDICAL REQUEST)?....

Yes I am sorry my AOR email came in on Mar 15. MR came in somewhere in early April and the results were received by them and updated on ecas "Medical results have been received." somewhere between late April and early May. Does the ecas status always change from "application received" to "in progress" and having "we started processing your application on XXXX" added to it, or it doesn't necessarily do it? I applied under the International Graduate stream with NSPNP, should I be worried that I don't have "in progress" in my ecas?
