Are you inland applicant? did you leave Canada since you applied?

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada which was received at the Regional Program Centre (RPC) in Buffalo, New York, USA, on April 13 2011.
Due to the closure of the Regional Program Centre (RPC) in Buffalo, your file has been transferred to the Case Processing Pilot Office in Ottawa, Ontario (hereafter referred to by the acronynm “CPP- O”). Henceforth, you must now address all enquiries and correspondence to the CPP-O office, unless directed otherwise.
We apologize for the delay in processing your application that has resulted from the closure of the RPC in Buffalo. It is unfortunate that the medical examination that you underwent last year will have to be re-done, as the results of that examination have expired and cannot be extended.

Here wat I got in the email

@ shakiffi - yes I am an inland applicant but I have been to states 5 times in last 12 months due to work related trips

Yes that's unfortunate, when did you do your medical? people who got PPR yesterday were not asked for re-medical, one applied in December 2010 and other applied in January 2011, there medical were expired as well.

I know this sounds silly but can you please share at what time of the day you received the email?
Also from each email did you receive an update from CPP-O?

Here it says: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/ottawa.asp

scan and send documents other than PC via email, so i think it should be fine by sending through email.

Scanned copy of Birth Certifcates are OK. However, its a good idea to get the copy notarized before sending it to CPP-O.
Good Luck, I think you will receive PPR very soon.

I have a friend too received an email this morning from ottawa that she needs to do her medical again. She applied May 2011, ECAS status Apllication Received. Im thinking if all applicants didnt receive PPR yet will do medical again... :(
