BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

I would give them 2 months since your file got transferred, so July 9th should be a good time to expect an update from Ottawa.

I sent an email to them on June 8th, they replied me application is in Ottawa and my file is to be reviewed by the officer, I hope that was not automated reply.

No its not.. it just means that an officer has not gone round to checking your file. I am sure once he does you will get ppr.

well i havent gotten any email from buffalo yet,ive been waiting for a notice of transferred application from them, i dont where did they put my application,my application is turning to its 14th month by next week..whats ur status bud?

hi! my application was transfer to buffalo and i did my medical last may and i wonder if when am going to know the result because they said that once you have you medical then after 1 month you will receive your permanent residence card..thank you!!!

Nobody can predict the timeline after medicals, so all you can do is wait.

I dont think there is a way to determine as Buffalo applicants are getting their files transferred to Ottawa also, which might increase their workload. It also depends on your background checks and if any document is required.

CIC will temporarily stop accepting Federal Skilled Worker applications from July 1, 2012 (until when? I do not know). Hopefully this will make the processing of our applications much faster...

I have hardly seen anyone getting PPR lately, if people get PPR it gives everyone some hope. However, no news yet and so it all seems at a standstill.

Someone got PPR from NY/VO today, l read it in one of the thread in this forum. He said he went to the office personally to get it stamped today!!!

I meant people from Ottawa not getting any PPRs.. its good that person got it but once Ottawa gets the ball rolling we will see all of a sudden lots of PPRs coming through..

I am in Process and they started processing on May 14th..

Ottawa PPRs are around the corner. You are right, I think Ottawa will be faster, because its a new processing office, so when they start sending out that "SPECIAL" emails for PPRs + RPRF, we all will be dancing and praising God!!!...IT IS WELL!!!
