You can travel outside the country, but to get back in you will need a visa, unless you are from a visa exempt country.julie143 said:Can i travel out of canada even though i have not got my pr? I'm a pnp applicant.
I want to visit my sister in england so, i don't know if they will even issue me a visa to go there?
any help would be great.

i'm not so sure anymore about this, sharuu,...she might has to double check this with CIC on the phone. Yesterday, at the CIC counter the Officer told me, if my PR card doesn't arrive on time, i need the Travel Document to get back, because my COPR will not be enough. And Germany is one of the Visa exempt countries. I have triple check this myself, too.sharuu said:You can travel outside the country, but to get back in you will need a visa, unless you are from a visa exempt country.
I dont think she has her PR yet and if she goes outside the country while no PR yet she can use the visa method I mentioned. She isnt PR yet so its not the same case as yours, I believe.lepatissier07 said:i'm not so sure anymore about this, sharuu,...she might has to double check this with CIC on the phone.
