BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

How often do you guys request your GCMS notes?
Last time i requested mine were in Sept

Alright Lads,
Pretty tired of this PR process. I've been reading the forum for quite some time now. Did all the suggestions made on the forum. MP didnt help except tell me my file was transferred to buffalo on 2012/7/7 and the processing time is 12 month from date when the file was transferred.
GCMS:
Medical: passed
Criminality : In progress
Eligibility: Not Started, Due date 2013/03/21
Security: Not Started, Due date 2013/03/21
All above @ status date of 2012/03/21

Latest date for any updated was 2012/08/07 under client details

Timeline:
Application sent to NSNP: 20-Sep-11
NP Approved: 14-Oct-11
App to Buffalo: 3-Jan-12
Ecas App received: 25-Feb-12
Medical request: End of March 2012
Ecas Medical received: 04-may-2012

Situation:
My provincial govt had sent my nominee certificate to Buffalo.as you can see my date of PR application was in Jan, CIC made everyone send their application to Sydney NS as of Dec 1, I contacted my provincial govt to ask if i should send it to sydney or buffalo. They said even though CIC has provided a CIO they(buffalo) still do accept application(for certain grace period) and since my nomination letter was sent there then i should sending my application to buffalo. Well it took time to apply to buffalo since i got my nomination because me and my spouse have lived in different countries for a while and we had to get police certificate from 5 different countries. Anyway after applying to buffalo, as you can see from my timeline the process was quick in asking for meds, We were quite happy. Suddenly news of buffalo office closing down shattered all our hopes in getting PR in time.
I was on a 3 year open work permit which expired on july 2012, My employer renewed it under their name. I'm Locked to work only for them now. My spouse's renewed WP was open. Suddenly another sad news, The company i work for got SOLD and the company that bought us was one of our competitors. They have all the staff they need and they dont need to add a soul to their workforce after the acquisition and so there is no hopes of rentention, i will be laid off by the end of the year once the deal is finalised legally. The field i work in is very specialised and there are no Jobs for my field in my province thus i cannot find work here no matter what, I have to move provinces or countries.

Does anybody have any advice on what to do? if I move provinces will it invalidate my PR application ?

Hi all, does anyone able to contact with CIC recently? I haven't received my GCMS notes which was due last week. I have sent an e-mail to ATIP asking when can I expect it, its been also a week I haven't heard anything from them. Any advice on this?

i APPLIED for GCMS on 11 OCT and got on monday 22.....in 10 days---ask them again...now a days they r sending within 20 days---my friend also got in 20 days

My friend just got a mail from Ottawa, requesting for their passports this morning. We applied before them, but they did medicals before us. I am so excited for her family, 'cos I know ours is on the way too. ;D ;D

I have basically resent the e-mail that I have used for my first GCMS, so the signed date wasn't current for the second GCMS. Have you sent them a new IMM5563E form or used the old one? Thanks
