Under Security sub-activities, there is a sub-activity assigned to RC-9515. However, there is no 'date created' or due date written.

I don't know if I am close or not looking at the fact that all checks have been done for almost 3 months. Can't really tell what seems to be the reason for the delay here.

What is the due date under Application Assignment?

What are Notes made by the VO? Anything over there?

One thing to be noted is, usually criminality is IN PROGRESS but yours is not started. You are QSW so I am not sure if something else is verified before the checks are started? I cant predict much as it seems not much work has been done in your case..

Dear Sharuu,
thank you for your quick reply. I asked the GCMS notes from he visa office. I think I am stuck at the BG checks....
by the way, what does HIRV:0 mean?
How about Criminality:1 and Security:1
thanks.

"1" means usually "passed". HIRV seems "always" to be "0". HIRV = Hazard Impact Risk and Vulnerability

1 means the amount of entries in that section.. It used to be pass in CAIPS.

Dear lepatissier07 and sharuu,
Thank you very much for your replies. I would appreciate if you answer yet another question of mine. Which steps of my immigration process are done by the time my application is under "final review"? ("Group Name: PR- Final Review")? Does it mean that medical and BG checks are done?

thanks,

Hi Guys... Just want to share this letter from Ottawa...

Thank you for your message of 03 October 2012 concerning the application for permanent residence.

Your file has only recently been transferred from the former Visa Office in Buffalo to this office in Ottawa for processing and it represents only one of thousands of files that we need to integrate into our own workload and this process will take several months to realize fully. Nevertheless, we are actively reviewing files on an ongoing basis to ensure that priority be given to those clients whose files have been transferred from Buffalo and whose applications were submitted at an earlier date than those who have applied more recently to our Department. You can rest assured that we are making every effort to offer fair treatment to all our clients, on a first-come, first-served basis.

I note that the processing of your file is actually well advanced. Medical results have already been received. The validity of these results will be extended, if necessary, to provide a sufficiently long period of time to enable you to obtain permanent residency before the expiration of their validity.

We will be reviewing your file in the next several weeks and I anticipate that we should be in a position to finalize the file within the next several months, provided you have complete documentation with your application forms, as set out in the application checklist. An officer will be in contact with you in due course. In the meantime, I would ask for patience during this transition period.

Wow....

That is certaily a bizzare email from Ottawa...
u are a lucky one to be treated that way... Good for you....

:)
