It happened to me as well. I sent FBI certificates for my self & spouse on 23rd Dec and was waitng for PPR , But to my surprise, they had sent a regular mail this week, to submit FBI clearence with in 60 days.

I sent them an email saying that I had already sent them, with all the proofs. They replied me next day, by saying that, they are seeing an update on my file on 31st Jan (after 40 days of receiving documents), so they said, they could be my clearence certificates.

They did not confirm me yet though, but i am hopeful, as I am from last 26 months.

Hopefully, they will update your file in next couple weeks, with your FBI certificates.

Today they confirmed that they have located my FBI clearance certs and said they will be able to update me in few weeks. Thanks Everyone , was very anxious

My lawyer send an e-mail last week to the Detroit office for an update. It took them couple of days to reply back to an e-mail inquiry which was send by my lawyer. According to the e-mail it says - "Part of the processing has expired, and we are updating it. There is nothing for you or your client to do about this. We expect it will be completed within the next couple of weeks and that "ready for visa" instructions will be sent within approximately the next three weeks."

I will inform all of you if I hear anything from Detroit. Please update the status so that we all know what's going on in the Detroit office.
