Totally agree!
I haven't even received the 2nd AOR yet. It's been 40 weeks! I know many people who applied on later dates got their AORs way ahead of me.
I am getting frustrated.

As per Mr.h1b text in this same post you pasted, Mr.h1b file sent in 2009 to CIO so his priority in waiting list is clear by buffalo (this is my thinking).

(I sent my file end of the month December 2009 but I don't know why my process is too slow).
Lucky Mr.h1b

Hi everyone,

I just saw a post in this Forum, I am not sure if it is good news or not.

Please pay attention to the timeline.

Does that mean Buffalo never stop working on MR of 2*27 application? But why we did not hear any news from the office in the past few months?

Send direct e-mail to buffalo, and explain your situation.
Also give your all information including file no from Nova Scotia.

I did samething and they sent me Buffalo file no (2nd Aor) in Feb 2011.
They mostly send through e-mail, so you may had missed that email or lost somewhere.
here is email add : buffalo-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca
Best Luck

I have recently requested my attorney to apply for CAIPS notes. I got the below response from my Attorney. I hope this is of some information to the group.

"As you may already know, since we began your application (on Feb 2010), the Government of Canada has dramatically changed its approach to the processing of Skilled Worker visas. One of those changes is the prioritization of certain applications, and it appears that this change has adversely affected the speed at which your file will be processed. We must be patient as we wait for your application to be processed in accordance with Parliamentary instructions.Although we do not know the exact time frame for the processing of Skilled Worker Applications submitted prior to July of 2010, in recent communication the visa office has nevertheless mentioned that they may process these applications either by late next year or early next year. Furthermore, these are not accurate predictions. With respect to CAIPS notes, their request is unnecessary at this point. Since your file has not yet been assessed, we will not gain any useful information regarding the status of your file".

Really? Are you sure it is not "late THIS year or early next year "?

OMG~

To ghadirrrr:

Again, I think they do have priority, those are post-June2010 applications. That is why we need to wait longer...

...unfair and strange rule!

it's really unfair even no-one knows exact details why CIC is unfair with us. but slowly slowly system is moving few steps.
under noc0213 this month 2 OP's get update from different VO. (both looks sent application in end of year 2009).

Again Congrats : Mr.h1b (17 august 2011) and AMAY (11 august 2011):

i just had a conversation with my lawyer... shes saying buffalo processing is slow on purpose, not a lack of resources.. its a way of reducing overall immigration numbers in canada without having to pass legislation ..

Strongly agree. Similar statement has been made by a VO employee. All resources are divereted to "parents" and visitor/student categories. BF'Ds now a days are immaterial.
