Pulling up...

an update guys....

Let see this week come with lots of good news from Buffalo...

Look at the reply i got from Buffalo office on my inquiry for application status:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Due to the volume of applications and processing issues beyond the control of this office, processing times may be longer than those listed on the CIC website.

We cannot provide a precise estimate of when the processing of your application will be completed. We can only assure you that we will contact you when we require information from you or have information to share.

Thanks Patel for sharing this. This way at least we know that CIC responds to queries and notifies applicants.

So I can promise my future grand kids that someday I will get my Canadian PR !!

I should start researching which are the best places to settle down in Canada post retirement.

'Beyond Control' of this office. :(
Maybe I should be prepared for much longer waiting than I expected.

But why dont they take control of their work??
Buffalo has been crazily busy.. since... what? 2009?
It is time to DO SOMETHING!
Hiring more poeple? Transferring a lot more files to other offfices? Redirect applicants from the beginning...

It is not something to be proud as a representative of a Government.

"Oh, things are beyond control, we cannot even estimate!"

Great.

thank ur stars u dont have to apply to London VO.. apparently the bfd's there for a couple of people are in 2013 .. imagine!

Hello Everybody, I have a million dollar question ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D for you all, please reply

What does "In process" means for Post June Applicants? It says

In Process means:
Based on review of your complete application package, it has been determined that your application is eligible for processing.
Processing has begun.

What are they processing, if they have already reviewed application and supporting documents at CIO and VO already?

I scored 9.0 in IELTS, still I am not able to understand the meaning of "Reviewed" and "Processing" :P :P :P :P :P :P

Please enlighten me.

Poor Guys are overwhelmed looking at the number of people interested in coming to their country.

what!processing times may be longer? In 2009 their processing times were pretty impressive,30% of the cases were processed in 6 months and rest of the cases max 10 months but I dont think that was true. Again, last July they updated the processing times to 17 months! and now they are saying its going to be longer than that?they mean 17x2 months?uh!...God help us!
Initially, when London VO applicants were getting these kind of replies I really felt sorry for them, but now I feel sorry for us :(

Thanks for sharing spatel.Lets hope for the best.
Best Wishes to All.

:D gud question!
hi cforcanada,

first,Congratulations for scoring Band 9 in IELTS :)
According to my point of view,
Review means--->check for completeness of the application and point calculation.
Processing means--->add doc request,MR,RPRF,PPR,Decision Made.

As u r post-june2010,urInprocess status means u should receive ur MR anytime soon, again its Buffalo :-X,so not sure how soon ;D

All the Best
