Congrats. This means that you meet the ministrial instructions (FSW 1,2, 3), NOC and points requirement (minimum 67) and backgrounds checks and checking authenticity of your documents has begun. This is the stage when they may make a verification call to the employer if the VO so decides.

I received the medicals from L A today. Surprising. Within 2 weeks of "In Process". Anyways I am happy. All those whose files are being processed in LA can expect their medicals too pretty soon after being "in process".

Does this mean they have processed my file completely or are they asking for the medicals side by side of detailed scrutiny? Maybe seniors can give their opinion on this.

Surprising!!! as u received medicals within 3 weeks of file transfer to LA.
(My file was transferred to LA on 13Oct, hope there will be see some positive update by coming tuesday )

Vermas is right-ur background checks r over and they have commenced Security checks.

Thanks. Even I am surprised as I was expecting the medicals only around middle of Dec'10. LA seems to be moving faster than other VOs in the U.S
