BUFFALO AOR AUGUST-SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER 2010

I think it may take 3-5 months between the 2nd AOR to request any other documents or at least to change your case to in process. then it may take 2-3 months for the medical request.
Then it may take some thing between 1-4 months for the passport request and visa to be issued.
that what I noticed from the time lines of many people from Buffalo office.

happy to see AORs for june applications, july is not far..atleast something is happening @ buffalo...@ the same pace i would think July will start post 15 Nov and should be done before xmas!

Vermas, What you're doing with putting up (and updating) this list with our timelines is Great work- You didn't have to do it but you're doing it anyway.

I agree with you that I don't have to do it but am doing it as some one has to take initiative and I feel that it is informative and beneficial to all the members of this thread. I don't know why I am the only one so far on this thread whose file has gone into "in process" in Buffalo while others' files are being transffered to LA mostly and Detroit and whether it will make any difference in processing times or not.

All in all it may take upto 12 months from the date of 2nd AOR from Buffalo to get the PR .Keeping fingers crossed

It Looks like that either Buffalo Transfers files to other (nearest) offices for processing OR it processes them itself. Either way, (looks like) its taking 2 to 4 weeks to either get the file transferred or start processing at the same (Buff) office. Either way its good news isn't it?
 
I have a question..

When using E-Cas, you use the "immigration file Number" from your first NS-CIO AOR Email right? Do you ever get to use your second file number (from Buffalo) on e-cas?
 
I use CIO file number as well as Buffalo file number, both work and show the same information.

Both are works fine but if you are contacting Buffalo office you have to use the file number they gave for you.

My Buffalo file number wont show any info on E-Cas. Is it because I just got it?
