Hello MR. Verma,

Congratulation for getting PPR.

In my case i submitted my application to CIO.
My current time line is:

CIO recevied my application on 8th April 2011.
I Received my AOR on 11th May 2011.
Till than my E-case status is RBVO.

Now i don't know how long it will take to get medical and PPR.

According to my survey currently Buffalo transferred Files to other visa offices in US and They are processing Oct - Nov 2010 cases.

So, i am planning to come back india in May 2012. But i have a question regarding Medical and PPR that do i have to come US for submitting Passports??

In your case how did you manage medical and PPR from India.

Thanks,

Andy

Dear friends,

Thanks for the congratulatory messages and I reciprocate with my best wishes to all of you. I did my medical in India on 7 January and my updated docs (IMM0008 etc)+RPRF+original PCC from India) reached NYVO on 1 February 2012 and PPR mail is dated 9 February. I will now fly to NY to get my visa "In Person" for which I am sending a mail to NYVO explaining my location/situation and seeking permission.

ram84 - I lived in my home country India and Canada for over 6 months in the last 10 years.

Andy11 - You can do medicals with any DMP (a doctor nominated by CIC) in any country. Medical reports are uploaded in GCMS/CAIPS which are accessible from any visa office in the world. My case is in NY but I did medical in Delhi/India.

MCBoy - Sure, let's plan to meet in Canada and have party!!!

Cheers..

Hello Vermaji,

I sent you PM.
Waiting for your advice.

Thanks,
Andy

Hello vermas,

Congratulations to you for finally getting PPR.

You mentioned that you are going to NY for visa-stamping In-Person. I assume that you are currently in India, if so, then on which visa you are traveling to US, please let me know, as I am also in India these days and I filed my application while in US. Wondering if you can get visa (tourist visa for US) for stamping purpose.

Will wait for your response.

Thanks so much.
