Rod has created one Google Excel sheet to track about MR etc. But this one is specifically for the files transferred to LA VO.

this helps, i'm gonna do same.. send an email with the scanned receipt and show them i did advance medicals.. i just hope they actually find my medical file if and when they try to look it up .. as i didnt have any barcodes to put on my medical forms when i did the advance test..

omg!!! they actually read my email and responded that they will look for my medical files in ottawa. i cant believe it! lets hope they find my file.

Hey anne,
when you did your meds in advance, did you fill out your file number on the medical form on the top ( the protected section) ?

Also does anyone know if ottawa holds on to the medical results sent to it, if it cant link it to a immigration file?
I did my meds in advance, but i'm worried ottawa would have disposed my medical results if they couldnt find an immigration file to link it to. Or do the results just stay in their database for all eternity ?

Thanks all.

Hi to all,

I have a good news to everyone... I just got a passport request through E-MAIL from New York visa office this morning!!! :P :P :P
No additional documents and they never mentioned if the interview was waived... Anyways they gave me 60 days to send my passport to them with accompanying 4 pictures and that was it! :D

Here are some important information that might help you guys:
I did my medicals in advance last April 2011 in Ottawa, I am currently residing in Canada. Buffalo transferred my file to New York last October 26, 2011. I sent a letter to NY office 2 weeks ago informing them that I've done my medicals in advance and I attached the copies of the receipts. Then today I was surprised and I can't believe that the passport request is here!!! :-*

This is how my e-cas looks like: IN PROCESS:

We received your application for permanent residence on January 21, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 12, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New York office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the New York office on March 17, 2010. The New York office may contact you.

We transferred your application to the New York office on October 26, 2011. The New York office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on December 13, 2011.

Don't loose hope guys, I think visa office are really working hard now to clear the backlog after they hibernate for a long time...

Good luck to all and I will keep you updated till I've done my landing.

All the best!!

Hi anuM,

I did my advanced medical in April 2011, I don't think they will delete encoded results that quick...I would say it should stay there for at least 1 year since the medical results is only good for a year.

The secretary of my DMP wrote my file number on top of the first page.

Don't worry, they should have other means of tracking the results aside from the file number. Just keep your finger crossed and hopefully you'll hear good news from them in few weeks! ;)

All the best!

Ok.I remember #Vermas had started a sheet with all of us who got 2nd AOR in Aug-Jan 2011 TimeFrame .It had everyone from Buffalo very clearly divided into different Satellite Visa Offices. It was being followed sincerely till about 36th page and was lost after that.I am not able to copy that sheet here or else would have done by you.Can you (Bonny) or someone else try.

It is very useful for everyone to track .

Hi anuj_623,

Thanks! :D :D
All I can say is "you'll never know..." My BF'D was supposed to be March 30, 2012 that's why I kinda accepted that I have to wait for that day before I will hear from NY but luckily I received the PPR through email dated January 31, 2012 which is 2 months ahead of my BF'D. Keep on praying and who knows they will just decide to contact you earlier like they did to me...

All the best and God bless! ;)

I got my med request!
NYVO sent it on feb 2.. and feb 3 ( before i got the request) is when i randomly sent them an email asking them to check ottawa for my medical results from an advance medical exam i did last year.

I guess, i should still go get my medicals done again with the new request form just in case they dont find my advance meds , right ?

Congrats. Its long awaited MR, not worth taking any chance. You have 60 days to complete it. At the best you can wait for a few more days to see if they find your advance medicals.

Best wishes,

Congrats, Vermas. Does that mean you have to travel to NY for visa stamping? Many wishes.....
